On a parallel note, So so happy to see my favorite Lu Yuxiao here. I wish she gets more lead roles. Sadly, I can see all her upcoming projects are mostly support roles too :(

1) He is surprised not coz he is gonna die but he is gonna die without having his heart beat for the first time and for the woman he loves which is the only reason he has been waiting for all these years. Hence the title of the show

2) He was told she just has to be in love and doesn't necessarily have to be with him. So from his pov, it doesn't have to be him and that's why he has been trying to set her up with SML. Also drinking her blood doesn't mean he is gonna suck her dry right? It will be just same as the kiss in episode 3. And pretty sure, she will offer it to him herself eventually when she falls for him completely towards the climax

The core plot of the drama in itself is about ML and FL falling in love so that ML can drink her blood to become a human once she is in love. So if you are here anticipating proper romance with lovey dovey scenes, you are ought to be disappointed & it won't happen anytime soon. My guess is it will be towards the last few episodes.. maybe around 13-15.

But the plenty of small hints about them gradually getting attracted to each other is just as good for me. Being an easy watch, this is very enjoyable :)

I understand and it's fair to be annoyed but end of, that's still a valid criticism imo. I just hate the vilification of critics whenever there is a drama with popular leads. So I was just venting out my frustration in general. Coz their fandoms are literally gunning for people with any negative remark and tries to crucify them as if they did something unpardonable.

My whole point being, someone saying 'This drama is trash' is still a valid opinion. Why do you think someone shouldn't say a drama is trash when they feel it is? You want them to lie that the drama is good when they feel otherwise? I clearly don't get this ask. We should learn to take criticism or ignore it.

It's like you can't even criticize a drama when it has popular leads. If someone does that, the fandoms barge in with blazing guns 'why spread hate?'. 'just ignore and move on?' Youa are spot on here. This drama is kinda garbage atm which is purely driven by the huge fanbase of the leads atm. Today's episode with the arab dude and the preview for the next one are just next level cringe that I had second hand embarrassment. It's almost feeling like they just enacted random scenes and pasted together for 16 episodes.

Ep10, Guilt tripping at it's finest omg. Funny how FL put it all on ML for not doing anything for her when she literally dumped him without explanation. What bro can do? 😂😂
