From various trailers ( 6 i watched - might be more) he is an existence that appears in every story as an industry star/ mentor. Its just my guess but he might be part of foreshadowing - in first episode he was talking about staring in BL - that you shouldn't do it just for award/popularity sake but for themselves (work you can be proud off) which is also the theme of episode 1 and 2 from what we could see.

Used it as a tool for promotion. They used actor names to promote ships in real life while before it was all about on-screen characters. ( I don't even names of actors that played some of the characters I shipped years ago) Fans want NC scenes that fit the story - if actor don't feel comfortable doing them rather than changing the script maybe he should look for a role that fit him better? Adults man acting as innocent 15yo are just cringy. It might sound harsh but if I am scared of water or of animals I don't accept work at the sea or at zoo. Just common sense. The same goes for fanservice - its actors and their companies decision - because they organize these events and make money off them. So what if... after My Candy flopped sponsors backed off and Ever Sun never finished filming the whole script? Boun in BTS read pretty thick script... so is it possible that they only filmed it partial and put together to air what they got before sponsors backed off?

It really great intro into the series and after all Bl which started airing in July its quality is like a breath of fresh air for me. As for Pan manager she is dealing with "star" and need to take the villain role so her pupil could have an image of an innocent baby - I for sure would be tired as hell dealing with it. There is also an interesting power struggle going on - Pan seems to have more power at the first glance but he is living in company housing (with other company stars) without much privacy while (if he is smart - not so sure yet ) aware that his fame can end as quickly as it started. At the end of day, crew workers can be a pretty united group (my ex work as a special effect guy) and they talk, there is nothing worse for an actor to have the label of being difficult to work with. Just like in the scene where both Not and Pan entered the set - it is easy to imagine who the crew prefers to work with and who they will recommend to their coworkers in other crews.
