It's bad... to the point that it makes me wonder if screenwriters and directors were at gunpoint when they produced this drama... the 2 episodes I saw so far give this - i don't want to do it feeling so i will just produce it negligently as fast as I can...
At first i thought it was maybe because it was first work - but no, the director is experienced and showed he can do better than that...
I really feel bad for the actors...

I love the idea behind bartender and laundromat owner but... not sure if it lack of chemistry or casting but they are just painful to watch.... i don't feel or see any spark between them...

Thanks, i suspected that something like this would happen due to changes in original leads characters but still hoped that maybe 1 ep was just a bad start...

I don't think i ever watched drama that was so straight forward story-wise that become so messy... It's kinda level of its own at this point

In original novel only Daisy was more "fem" but show runner changed it - which go back to my main point - i don't think they changed Toh and Jao original characters setting to be progressive they just wanted to make it more funny by using stereotypes that they already previously used for years.
I also never said that i hated the show - i only stated that their intention might not be as pure as everyone think. Re watch some scenes and how they portrayed Toh, Jao and Daisy group contra their partners - while keeping in mind that it was made made by Channel 3 and what some of my gay friends used to hear "You should men up". Isn't that what this show low-key present? Fem guys are more problematic and immature?
Maybe I am overthinking it but this show really give my bad vibe no matter how hard they try to hide it behind comedy and pink bubbles.

My initial statement was that producers made main characters act famine for additional comedy undertones and not because they are so progressive as big amount of watcher want to think (It's channel 3 for god sake)

While having 3 couples in the show they could easily mix it up. That why i wrote they should use Nuea or Sky characters to showcase that if they truly wanted to be progressive

Why Sky or Nuea can't me more flamboyant? Why Toh, Jao and Daisy are all passive while waiting for their secret crushes to look at them and flirt? Can't they be confident and take charge? Can't they be taller and more muscular than their counterparts? Why Toh, Jao and Daisy artsy types all have crushes on muscular sporty popular ones? Why do they all need to be more submissive ones in their respective relationship? I have 100 of such why.

Also tell this opinion to LGBT communities in countries where LGBT rights aren't recognized and guy aren't considered real men. Please tell them this series cater to them and is progressive.

Are we really watching the same show? Good question, because i could point you to countless scenes that validate my statment.
Also, i know several people from the LGBT community, some are my friends from HS - so i clearly remember what kind of crap they needed to deal with on daily basis. Maybe that is why I am more sensitive to the portrayal of such stereotypes and its exactly these... stereotypes that were used for the sake of additional comedy.

The more I watch this show the more I am sure that opinion - I like that they used fem guys to humanize them because ita so progressive - is FALSE.
They just made them behave this way to add another comedic underline to their already comedic show.
All three main characters are passive buttons who need masculine men's protection because they can't do anything for themselves while behaving and being treated as teener girls...
If their roles were really acted by women majority of the audience would say " they are so fake", "Being female don't mean you need to be a damsel in the distress", "Damn girl get help." etc.
But magically this show is okay because its BL, while Thailand and many other countries still need to deal with this damn stereotype...

I am not sure what but something doesn't work for me
- I like basic storylines
- I like a slice of life dramas
- I think that MC & ML acting are pretty good
- I am a total sucker for a second chance for love troope
But somehow I am just not feeling it....

Thank but as you see this is very unpopular opinion. Everyone treats it as a harmless comedy while I personally would be too ashamed to even recommend it to anyone in LQBT community.

Just rewatched this show for the second time since it finished airing and i need to say it's still as GOOD as i remembered it.

Depending how the plot go everything can still change. But i wouldn't cross my finger for it. It's simple cute story as you said but to make it work for bigger audience it need to have flashy element about it (BB, 2ogether, 2moon, Theory of love) but its not director New strength.
