Though he has already shown it in his previous works, like Love Between Fairy and Devil, this drama proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that HE CAN ACT, something his envious haters keep refusing to admit. Another thing GOTD shows is that a high-quality drama can withstand a heavy smear campaign. Despite the 200-million-rmb smear campaign lobbied at this drama by Dylan's envious bullies in C-Ent, this drama prevailed, having topped Kuyun viewership charts for 3 weeks , even after its finale aired. Regarding the FL, I too, was dubious of their pairing at first, but I was impressed with her acting, pulling off a role of a seemingly spoiled but kind princess to perfection. Moreover, she and Dylan know how to kiss 😊

A firm believer of quality over quantity, I'm fully satisfied with the romance angle of this drama. GOTD is male-centric and mystery-driven, so I didn't expect much romance. But every interaction between ML and FL is titillating, from him falling in crush with her at first sight in ep 6, then her gradually developing feelings for him and most recently, their non-cheesy way of confessing their feelings in ep 34. ML's confession: "Without you, why would I need a rank?" ML's clarification: "I don't want to be your friend" FL response: "(Blissful smile) Be careful! I'll wait for you to come back!"
Best part is that both ML and FL know how to kiss, all sweetness and heart. Their kisses are among very few onscreen kisses where I didn't go "ewwww!"
