It's one of the best cdramas I've ever watched. A funny male-centric drama that manages to have a heart-fluttering romance and well-executed action sequences.

Every episode keeps increasing my awe and admiration of this masterpiece. The acting, writing, direction, cgi and production quality are all brilliant. Weaving philosophy and comedy into a thrilling action sequence is precious, if not hilarious 🤣 In addition, Didi showed the world what his fans have known all along - that he is a consummate actor.
Episodes 31 and 32 depict a battle of wits, philosophies and personalities. The Tianyu monk created an illusionary formation - an illusion of Yang Ling’s life, showing him to be a “failure” based on the monk’s rules that put too much stock on regrets and sorrows. Note, it’s an illusion so I think Yang Ling’s future can still change, especially after being Xu Qi An. The intention of the illusion was to make XQA lose his mind. XQA countered that each person is different, therefore the monk’s rules shouldn’t be used for him. XQA pointed out that having lived is meaningful enough. Everyone suffers regrets and sorrows but as long as one finds joy in experiences, such as falling in love, eating hotpot and other foods, playing basketball, making short videos, etc., he has led a meaningful life. In the end, XQA left the monk dazed and confused with his assertions 🤣
Why does this seem like a dig at Didi’s haters? One shouldn’t judge a drama based on their own biased and preconceived rules. Rather, viewers should just try to feel and enjoy it. Those who are quick to judge and criticize, instead of experiencing and enjoying a drama, end up being losers.
there is not even a single romance until ep20+.this is really not a romance drama.
I felt the romance since ep 6, when Xu Qi An fell in love with Lin An at first sight. And every interaction built up their relationship, yes,even through Lin An ‘s subterfuge about her identity. That her subterfuge didn’t turn Xu Qi An off is quite telling on how much he cares about her, even if he wasn’t aware of it.

Episodes 29 and 30 are awesome! The cgi is awe-inspiring and magical, showing the formidable power of 2nd rank Tianyu Dharma. It makes one wonder how much more powerful 1st rank figures are. Is the supervisor one? He sure is imposing. The build up of suspense for the upcoming duel between Dafeng and Tianyu is palpable. And the comedy being injected at random times generates LOL moments, like the Xu family portrait in the middle of a national crisis or Xu Qi An’s reaction to being told his role in the duel or Xu Xinian being more concerned about his date with Simu. Add to this Princess Lin An’s attempts at eliciting a proposal from Xu Qi An. Plus so many questions deepening the mystery: whose name got erased from the documents, what was the treasure, who is Shen Shu, what is in Xu Qi An that made Shen Shu choose him? This drama is truly a full package, a masterpiece!

It’s code for non-breaking space. That the code is appearing instead of a non-breaking space suggests some error in the encoding of the text. It needs to be fixed by the one who wrote the text (probably by removing the blank characters in between). For those who are seeing it, just interpret it as a space (blank character) that does not wrap to a new line.
