Do you have an article from Tencent that excludes GOTD from their list of 2025 dramas that broke 30k? On the other hand, the 4th photo of the following link is a screenshot of a Tencent article announcing GOTD as its first 2025 drama that broke 30k
https://x.com/4theLoveofDidi/status/1995059650656719185

Since GOTD started on 12/28/2024, it mostly aired in 2025. At the end of 2024, it would hardly have registered a blip in the stats for the year, since it only aired for 4 days then. If it doesn't get included in 2025 stats, its accomplishments are virtually hidden, since who would care to look at 2024 stats in 2025? Even if 2024 stats are updated to add GOTD, outdated screenshots of 2024 stats taken at end of 2024 or start of 2025 would not have included GOTD. Quite unfair, isn't it? As you've mentioned, Blossoms Shanghai also suffered the same fate.

To be fair, those dramas that started or ended airing in the year being reported should be included. Professional charts like Yunhe do it this way, though Yunhe considers what it calls the effective playback period such that dramas with effective playback period starting or ending in the year being reported are included. Note that the effective playback period even goes past the end date.

see? when a cdrama is fundamentally good they'll make exceptions. i can't wait!!!!!!bring back all the original…
Yup, it was so good and successful, the producer announced season 2 only 10 months after the first season aired. Had the drama flopped, the producer would, most likely, not have announced another season so quickly or he might have dropped the whole series altogether, leaving the rest of the novel un-adapted.

I stayed up the whole night (it's past 6 am where I am rn) watching out for news about the 2025 Weibo TV & Internet Video Summit. The awards Didi and GOTD got plus this news made the vigil worth it. I'm going to bed with a big smile 😊

Where's the evidence? The woman who started the rumours about him admitted and confessed it was all fake, and…
Considering how Didi’s haters are always desperately itching to blacken him, I β€˜m not surprised to hear these fake rumors. Didi’s haters have absolutely no decency and shame. Using somebody’s death to smear anothef person is diabolical. I hope karma gets them soon.

If you're sincerely mourning YML's death, and not just out to blacken GOTD as many haters have tried, the more…
Let's all hope justice will be served.

There seems to be a renewed interest in Guardians of the Dafeng in China:

'Wonder if this is due to a recent disturbing celebrity death that might have reminded many netizens of how powerless common folks are against the rich and powerful, the main theme of GOTD. Or might it be due to the corruption and abuses of rich and powerful people that are coming to light nowadays?

Whatever the reason, I hope Xu Qian's message to corrupt and abusive officials will reverberate throughout the world and touch the hearts of those whose hearts need to be touched:
"You're paid as a court official.
You live off the people's resources.
You can easily oppress the common people.
But you can't fool the heavens."

Wow, so, "innocent until proven guilty" does not mean anything to you? "Under suspicion" is NOT "guilty". In fact, treating those under suspicion as guilty is a form of injustice.

Dropped this because if I saw Fan Shi Qi, I might actually be physically sick.
If you're sincerely mourning YML's death, and not just out to blacken GOTD as many haters have tried, the more you'll appreciate this drama as it is about seeking justice for powerless people against the rich and powerful.
