The styling is like one of those 90s to early 2000 animes/cartoon-to-movie adaptations. I laughed at the names of characters being stamped on the screen with sound effects. So old school! 😂 It is adapted from a manhua/donghua so it is appropriate though. I like the story and pacing so far. Some people are bashing the CGI but whatevs. Have they not seen other cdramas? 🤣🤣🤣

It is sad because we didn't get to see their reunion on screen though. We cried buckets and used the HE novel chapters to soothe ourselves. I hope you won't let the ending put you off. There are many reasons why TTEOTM became the new king of Xianxia in 2023. Give the first few eps a try and see if it works for you. 😁
