MY said that since Ji Ze could see a shadow of TTJ and LSS in the future, he knew they would come to the Mohe River. He chose them to enter the Bo're Life to show them what happened in the past and also as a warning against repeating the mistakes he and SJ made. It also showed LSS how to deal with the EB. Only her with her pure body can contain the EB without being corrupted since it cannot be destroyed. This plan would have worked if Di Mian didn't steal the EB. I guess MY didn't take him into acct because DM was trapped by ADG's spell.
