Yes MN did a good job in this ep. She was clearheaded after the death of her sister. She severed ties with the defective clone, thanked TTJ for avenging her sister and killed Chief Cen to get the GSC for TTJ as per her sister's lifelong wish of seeing DG.
Too bad that LSS didn't get to be the one to avenge her father, mother, TTJ and even herself. DM owes them all.

I might be in the minority here but I felt like LSS deserved to be the one to kill DM. After all, it was her mother and father who were killed, her fiance who got framed and her future life ruined by him. Do these writers have no sense of giving better emotional payoff? ๐ค Chongyu should have been strong enough to kill him or at the very they should have stabbed him together. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Just as LSS says dad Qu can now rest in peace, TTJ takes back the EB from DM. He absorbs the EB to to horror of LSS.

He smashes the 6 nails - the tangible signs of his love for her - in front of her face and starts mocking her: Everything you have done is in vain. Are you happy? * He apologizes to her in head* ๐ญ๐ญ We know why are doing this but still... ๐ญ๐ญ XLstein teleports LSS out of the DP and tells her of his version of recent events. ๐ก
We are shown in the flashback sequence that earlier, Shifu saved CJM from the formation and made a safe bubble for him. Unfortunately, when Shifu came back from fighting with DM, he was already tainted with demonic powers. He tells CJM that CJM is powerless but TTJ as DG can stop the ADW. Even though it is unfair to him, he must do ito to save the realms. Shifu also tells him the reason why he chose Jiumin. He said that "Nothing is as vast as the sky with the bright sun. No one is supposed to live in the dark forever." Knowing that TTJ is the Evil Fetus, Shifu wanted to give him an auspicious, hopeful and bright name because he believes in giving him a choice to be good since he didn't choose to be the EF. CJM says he will always be TTJ and CJM. Finally, Shifu asks CJM to kill him because he is going to turn into a devil soon. He does start devilizing so CJM had no choice.

And with Shifu's death the bubble he created is broken so the immortals see CJM pulling out his sword out of Shifu's body causing another misunderstanding. ๐ฎโ๐จ
I can say that MN is a slight MVP in this ep. Good job in rejecting XLstein. She thanks TTJ for avenging SY. TTJ dismisses her but since she wants to help TTJ become DG coz that's SY's lifelong wish, she goes and kills Chief Cen to give the GSC to TTJ. ๐๐ If only for this scene, I can forgive the writers for adding you in and using up a lot of unnecessary screentime.
LSS thinks back on her conversations with TTJ and knowd something is wrong so she tries to escape to clear things up with him. Of course busybody muddleheaded XLstein stops her and only after she begs him does he let her go but he cuts ties with her in his head.
Since he has the two artifacts already, TTJ activates a beam to get the BRS. I love his smirk when XLstein tries to stop him from taking it. It was so easy that it was almost taking candy from a baby - in this case a defective clone. He keeps spewing filth about TTJ in this ep so it was satisfying to see him finally shut up. You're no match for TTJ. Bye! ๐
