Ep.32 TTJ/CJM and YXW/LSS finally meet. She denies that she is YXW but agrees to go on a walk with him. CJM tells MY×SJ's story but there is a part I don't like about his retelling. He said SJ mistakenly thought MY doesn't love her so she left. NOPE! SJ specifically asked MY and he told her he has never liked her. There is a difference in being mistaken due to misunderstanding and being lied to directly. That is not her mistake. I will always be a SJstan whether in the drama or the novel so do not gloss over MY's noble idiocy.
The sect chiefs underestimated SY and JM while overestimating their powers. Did they not think that these two 10,000+ demons have way more power than all of them combined? Even Jize and Chuhuang had a hard time with them.
JM distracts the sects while SY retrieves the Bone Refining Seal. CJM notices a disturbance in the platform so he goes there and tries to stop SY. We now see one of the most epic fight scenes between CJM and SY+MN. Really cool transitions between MN's human and umbrella form. Kudos to Wang Yifei for battling with that 4kg umbrella. I also love that stance shown in the bts of CJM hunched down on one leg and kicking his sword with the other. This was shown early in one of the bts and glad to see it was not cut from the final bit.
CJM absorbs the BRS and SY realizes he is the evil fetus. She leaves with JM but not before doing damage to the sect members.
CJM almost get overtaken by ADG's will but LSS' used her power to dispel the seal formation. Did you guys notice that even when CJM was almost overtaken by evil, his left eye never glowed red? That's because that is YXW/LSS' eye and it's incorruptible. CJM still showed the dark forehead mark so LSS transferred the pure power from her goddess mark to him. Forehead kisses are their thing even in LIS. Hehe
The perm guy is here and he is haphazardly introduce as LSS' sperm donor. She learns of her origin and connection to YXW.
MN is here, too. Go back to your umbrella form asap!
CJM visits LSS and tells what he has been doing in the last 500 years to locate YXW. She advised him to start anew. This conversation is just heartbreaking because love doesn't seem enough. Their roads are diverging in the advent of the resurrection of DG. Poor babies! 😭😭😭
