That's the thing, the 40ep limit is to avoid fillers and milking airtime/ads so Youku can just release TVOD bonus eps and deleted scene specials since the drama itself is finished. People would willingly shell out 💰. I paid extra for that 40min SP which is just an interview of Xixi and Lulu. Haha! I dunno why they aren't doing it. They seemed to be in a hurry to close off TTEOTM that they even moved BFTB airing date a day forward on the TTEOTM finale. Anyways, a lot of TTEOTM residents are still here so we can fangirl all together anytime. 🤣🤣🤣

It has a small possibility of airing. I think the BL ban has not been lifted. The last BL adaptation quietly released was Justice In The Dark (from a Priest novel) but it was stopped at ep.8. A League of Nobleman doesn't count because the author herself said it is not BL. If HYX is released this year, it'd be a big hooray for the immortals who have been waiting for 3 years. 😂 I read the novel 4 years ago and I almost hypotized myself into forgetting the drama but I got into this page and I'm reminded of it. 😅🤡
