I meant he'd have no choice but to come to terms with YXW's death after he tries to burn himself but he can't die because of the divine essence. He'd have survived that fire but YXW's body wouldn't. At least, he wouldn't be stuck in the Nether River and in pain for 500 years. It just seemed so futile.
At the end of the day, this is a moot point coz he would have still suffered in whatever permutation since that's his fate.

TTJ had a YXW-track mind. 🤣

I listened to parts of it now. Radio VAs are really a different level. Their enunciation and delivery of emotions are great.

The bottomline is TTEOTM is the best performing web drama for the first half of 2023 and that's a fact! 😁🎉

YQY is the best in this ep. Just a great example of an indomitable spirit with a great sense of responsility for the people despite his grief.

NBY had good intentions but it was a really bad suggestion. TTJ was already coming to terms with YXW's death and would probably fully recover. NBY had to suggest something with no known survivors then looked worried when TTJ was going in. Survival rate is zero but maybe worth a try? 🤣🤣🤣

Found an explanation about the jade and I'll summarize it below. It kinda broke my heart reading it because it signifies so much hope and other meanings for a newly weds but none of those became true for TTJ×YXW.

The crow dropped the WOJ into the Ruo River aka Nether River (where TTJ was at).

They really went too far with YQY pasty make-up 🤣 Another prob is they also only did the face and not the neck so I was distracted by the contrast.

NBY should have left TTJ alone. Like we said, he would have been perfectly fine - a bit toasted but fine. Also he was already becoming sane again. He said YXW is there! - meaning he was starting to accept her death.

Was the letter really written by XL or PYZ who wanted to collect her “tear of lover”? -- I also wondered about this during the first watch. PYZ seems cold enough to make a fake letter just to get a tear for his beloved bro XL. On the second thought, it would be very XL to write a letter to B before his death in order to clear up everything and also still convey his love. I felt a bit bad for B here since she finally realized her mistake but it was too late.

Siying's partner is Jing Mie - the one who went cray2 with his make -up haha

Yes that's why there was so much stress on fate. This is especially true for TTJ because he is the one paying for all the karma of the world and his tribe in making the deal with the devil (ADG), although he doesn't deserve it of course. His death is the only way close the karmic cycle. 😢

Chu Huang has always been the God Space. She did not need to go through the Heartless Way to become a True God.

YQY stands out in this episode in that despite losing his loved ones, he doesn't wallow in grief or fall in madness. He instead decides to take up ruling the Jing Kingdom in honor of those who died for it.

B finally realized her mistake in doubting XL's love for her and she dies after eating poisoned porridge. Thus, porridgegate comes to an end and PYZ gets his tear needed to make clone XL.

TTJ keeps swinging back and forth from insanity to sanity. He eventually snaps out of it upon hearing B's confession. He carves a tombstone for YXW before trying to burn himself to death with her.

Ji Ze's seal has weakened so Siying and Jing Mie were released in the Barren Abyss. Jing Mie has too much make up on! haha
They look for the devil fetus at Yiyue Tribe and eventually capture NBY.

The crow drops the melted WOJ into the Ruo River aka the Nether River. NBY suggested to TTJ to look for YXW there.
Finally, we see gorgeous ethereal mermaid TTJ. He suffers in the Nether River. Little Jin drops to the ground and ghostly dandelions start growing. TTJ eventually gets the WOJ and notices that the healing power is getter weaker over the course of 500 years.

While I sympathize with TTJ's grief because losing a loved one is really very painful, isn't it such a waste of YXW's healing divine essence? If he didn't go to the Nether River, he could have been using his power for the greater good and find ways to still look for YXW.

I guess this is where an anti-hero diverges from a hero. TTJ, despite his seeming ambition in the beginning, actually gave up his power to search for the soul of his beloved woman. YQY, on the other hand, accepts the loss of his lover, and goes on to lead the Jing Kingdom into a peaceful one for all the people.
