Seriously what has this drama done to us?
When I watched that clip I shared, as soon as I saw LSS tears just started. Of course, I had to find the entire segment and watch it. No surprise at more tears there.
I chanced upon the 👖 YT upload earlier and again teared up.
Add that to the rewatch and we're gonna get dehydrated from this. 😂🤡

Hmmm, he kept it first because he was planning to use it to make SJ's immortal essence. Then he went to SJ with the B in the pool. SJ crushed B's essence then MY knocked her out and locked her up after that.
Since he did seal the Bone Refining Seal at the platform, does that mean he gave up on SJ after previous event? Wut?! When and why? Now I'm confused. Haha

Haha TTJ can't shake off the memories. NBY, don't even ask what your king is thinking about. 🤣🤣🤣

Some actors can "speak" with just their eyes but CDL has a long way to go. Her character is hateful in itself so she could do the bare minimum. Contrast that with Cristy Guo in TBW or Yang Rong in BFTB. These two are solid.

SJ got done in by the lightning punishment. She disintegrated quickly because she doesn't have a physical body anymore (due to repeated Ruo water baths and getting torn apart in the BA). Bye SJ and MY! 😢

We get a reprieve with YXW and TTJ comedic antics for now but I'm already bracing myself for the rest of the mortal arc. This drama is not for the faint of heart.

No SJ never forgave MY. That was YXW being a good actress LOL! But the memories of why SJ fell in love with MY were real.

They changed this part in the drama. Drama MY died long ago so only his skeleton was left but he still has leftover energy to draw people into the Bo're dream.

TTJ is a goner at this point. He is already in lurv with YXW. Hehe!

So funny and ironic that LSS is afraid of geese and all sorts of fowl/birds when she is a phoenix. 😂

I noticed about the costumes too. It was likely a form of manipulation fromYXW's part to stop MY from devilizing. It showed SJ first because she was the one who needs to forgive MY. Since TTJ was still in a MY state of mind, he felt relief and cried but it is technically already YXW so we see her getting the tear.

It was nice to see PR, YQY and NBY again. LOL at their faces at how shameless YXW is..🤣

She overacts and it isn't natural. I just finished watching BFTB and the villainess there is so good - very believable and grounded. You can't help but respect her goal.

B is visited by ADG. He reinforces B's insecurity about XL's love for her since she stole PR's love threads. She says she will only love and depend on herself. 

I finally realized why I find B's acting unconvincing. She moves her mouth a lot when she says the lines but the required emotions are missing from her eyes.

MY arrives late. SJ already made the WOJ/WAJ (so many names for these artifacts - stick to one will ya haha) so she triggered the Lightning punishment. MY impales himself again on SJ's sword. What is this thing of his of skewering himself? Is that how he thinks sincerity is shown? LOL *facepalm* 🤦‍♀️

MY makes another unilateral decision to sacrifice himself - to take the Lightning punishment to die in her stead and have his immortal essence replace her demon bone - despite SJ being against it. He does not realize SJ does not have a physical body anymore so she can't survive the Lightning punishment and receive his immortal essence. SJ vanishes after saying he can never repay her so MY decides to devilize too.

YXW/LSS wakes up and creates SJ's memory pearl to stop MY from devilizing. He is now shown as TTJ and she is dressed as SJ giving him absolution just this once so he cried and that is how YXW got the "tear". TTJ love threads are also shown to be growing but he does not know what that feeling is. They come out of the dream. 

There is bit of a confrontation so PYZ zaps XL, B and YXW out of the river. MY's dragon form vanished which annoys TTJ since he cannot use its demonic power. This different from the book in that MY finally wakes up and with the memory pearl accepts that SJ loved him as MY the protector so he doesn't devilize and decides to calm and clear the Mohe River with his remaining power. Very meaningful, right? At least he was able to set to rights the river that got destroyed because of him -- even if it was after 10,000 years.

By the river, YXW recoils from B as she remembers TH. She gives the Mirror of the Past to PYZ to bring to Xiaoyao sect before leaving for the Jing Kingdom. 


ROFL as TTJ remembers the wedding night sexy time, and the sweet scenes in the Bo're life as well as his time with YXW. TTJ and his company were about to leave for Jia Pass after waiting by the river when YXW shows up and sweet talks him into taking her with him. PR questions her actions. 🤣🤣🤣

YXW starts her campaign to make TTJ fall in love with her. She teases TTJ about what he tasted in the Bo're life. 🤭😉😂 He then shared how MY is a fool for giving up godhood for a woman. Look who's talking. Haha!
He also admires ADG's immense power and plans to replace him someday. YXW shamelessly teases him again until she got dragged out by NBY. In the bts, Xixi kept on breaking character in this scene coz of Lulu. 🤣🤣🤣


Watching B+XL is such a chore. 🙄


Here comes the beginning of the end for the geese. TTJ was laughing at first when looking at YXW being scared by the ducks but got alarmed when she fainted. 
Geese, say goodbye to this world for scaring TTJ's baobei YXW. 😂😂😂

Their interaction after she woke up is so cute!!! It must be really cold when they were shooting coz you can see their breath.🥶

It is a little sad when TTJ asked so that what happiness feels like. How must it be like for him who never had happiness until YXW/LSS came into his life? On the other hand, YXW is single minded in completing her quest. 😮‍💨

"I am not MY. I don't want to save the three worlds or protect the people all the people out there. "
TTJ is gonna eat his words later on. This is twice now in one ep. 😬

SJ tries to convince TTJ to take her to Jing kingdom. She says they still have a chance as a couple and tells TTJ about the people she met on the way about not caring who the ruler is as long as they can sustain their lives and them thinking TTJ is a wise king. TTJ makes a funny evil laugh and assigns YXW as a maid. 😅

We see even more burnt TTML in a cave with his sorceress and a bunch of others who tells him about TTJ hunting demons and taking their essence as a forbidden form of cultivation. He plans to do the same. 🤦‍♀️🤡

Finally finished this drama!
It's great that both FL and ML were given equal importance. They were able to fully flesh out the ideas of Yin and Yang, of doing good/evil being a choice - not from birth nor affiliation, of staying true to your heart, and of standing up for your principles despite adversity. The writer and production team did a great job in pacing out the story. It's a solid watch! 😊

Nope, it's ongoing. The first version was stopped and the new version with different aesthetics just started.
