SJ was at the point of no return as soon as she made a vow to avenge her family and clan's massacre and got the Water Calming Sword. MY made the situation worse with his misguided intentions and false sense of justice. Their story is really too tragic since they loved each other. 😢

Actually, TTJ first started growing his love threads in ep.6 during the Charm scene. It just kept growing over time but being unacquianted with love, he didn't know what he was feeling.
