Yes, agreed. It's too bad the drama couldn't show her growth alongside TTJ. It's a missed opportunity since one of the central themes is Yin and Yang. They also sanitized TTJ so much so that he is almost like a whipping boy. LSS, even in the novel, realized her love too late but when she did, she loved TTJ in his entirety - the good and the bad because she knew how much he went through to become a good person. Oh no! My displeasure in the writing is coming out again. Haha! Frankly, I love how tightly written the first 10eps are but it starts falling apart after. It was still fine but definitely with room for improvement. I stayed for the love of Xixi and Lulu. 😂🤡

I'm not sure exactly why some C-celebs don't engage with their fans but my guess is it is to discourage extreme fanaticism. Some fans are too unruly so they disrupt public order. Others even put tracking bugs on their idols' car, invade their privacy in the hotels like repeatedly knocking in the middle of the night and trying to barge into the room etc.
