In the drama, LSS goes to the museoleum directly after he passes away so no grass should have been there because it was not overgrown when he went there while she was sleeping in his Bo're dream. YQY was probably the one who made sure the tombs were well-kept during his time as the Jing emperor.
In the novel that would make sense because LSS went to the museoleum 100 years after TTJ died so it is overgrown with grass.
