It's because TTJ never realized that LSS' soul could never be at the Nether River since she is an immortal - not mortal. She gave him her "immortal essence" but that didn't click. LOL! 😅😂

Exactly, YXW gave TTJ the path to immortality and greater cultivation.

Drama had a missed opportunity in that tower scene which will have an impact in future actions. YXW/LSS wants TTJ to cultivate to help the world so she said this before she died.
