Same for me. Well, I don't re-watch any drama and never did but this is one the few drama that I want to rewatch if I plan to do so in the future. Nonetheless, this drama is masterpiece. The term 'bad', 'disappointment' are excluded. And no drama comes closer to this when it comes to Xianxia.

Actually, I don't think what A Ying/Lieutenant He did to Li Ni was bad at all. They are not officially couple a yet, so it's normal for her to act this way. Besides, she is cunning and obviously, when you are commander of your army you will surely look out for your benefit does not prioritize for a person who isn't your lover yet. They both being deceitful to each other.

This is not just a fluffy romantic drama, this is a war, political drama so we can't expect a cliche romance here.
What I don't like here is about Li Ni. He is in so in love with her that he is dilly-dally with her rather than seeking opportunity for his army. Well, I know it's just a matter of time before Li Ni come out of his indulgence in romance. He is really a smart person, scheming and witty but that's reality of our life, everyone gets lost in their emotions just like Li Ni for a moment.
I think this drama will have great story line progression which is really good because if something is sorted from beginning, this drama could be wrapped up in 10 to 15 episodes.

exactly, we already know this drama will have lot of betrayal scenes, lot of torture and it didn't even started yet.

I just saw the previews for ep 7 and 8, and I must say this Li Ni character is very amusing. 😂
I'm not sure about the future episodes that how this dramas plot will be unfolded, but for now he is showing characteristic of typical Xu Kai or Wang Lu from OUATILM.
