Look, it’s really annoying how you guys react whenever someone says a thing or two about Xu Kai. Try to accept the bitter truth and don’t overcomplicate things. I may like him as an actor, but if I feel any need to criticize something about him, I’ll do that bluntly.

If you can’t handle that, then please don’t use this site. Everyone can speak as long as it’s within limits. You can’t control anyone, can you? Xu Kai really needs to work on his script selection. Since 2021, almost all his dramas on MDL have been rated below 8, with Wonderland of Love being the only exception, and that’s hardly something to brag about. Even on Douban, Almost all of his dramas rated below 7. And please don’t say it’s because Yu Zheng picks his scripts, Xu Kai isn’t a child, nor is he oblivious. Either he leaves the company (which I really hope), or he seriously reevaluates his choices and starts picking better projects.
Stop blaming all the bad ratings on haters. Every actor has haters, I know about Falling Into Your Smile which is prime example but that case was different. But if a drama is genuinely good, a handful of haters won’t drag the score down.
