I never support teacher student romance at all but I really shipped Suzume with Satsuki since first meet when they weren't actually teacher student. She also liked him & He is better than Mamura every way..they should've just went with "no dating until she moves out from the institute & then reunite after time skip" thing.

I don't see those constant "you're stupid" as love words. More importantly he's basically her best friend's crush so she never saw him romantically but she forced herself into dating him to forget the teacher clearly. ugh. last 20min into the movie... she's still not over the teacher. Their goodbye scene was painfully beautiful when she said he indeed is her first love.
