Alot of hate going on against WJoo but you need to remember he has had a loveless childhood, warped and growth stunted by the vicious women in his life. I feel sorry for him but don't condone his treatment towards his birth mother. YSJ is to blame also, she is like a cold/hot tap with his feelings and I would be panicked if my girlfriend was living and hanging out with another male who doesn't hide that he likes her too. I've got to ep55 and it has just gone downhill. I felt sorry for Hao Lan from the start but she has become very hurtful towards the King. She gets jealous of the concubine but turns herself on and off with him. As for her relationship with Lu Bai, he hangs around her like a bad smell, very inappropriate. Who cares if they have been set up, he visits her alone with bad intentions, so disrespectful to the King. Their son has turned out horrible. The only one I like now is the physician.

That poor girl has had her hair pulled, face slapped and treated way worse than her original self. There are hundreds and hundreds of Korean and Chinese dramas with full-on daylight assaults on adult children, employees, family, and so on, does it happen nowadays? Here in NZ it's considered common assault just by swinging a punch that doesn't hit, strict laws here mate and the age is 18 when our children become lawfully independent as adults. We are allowed to marry who we want regardless of how much money we earn, we date/ marry for love most of the time. One thing I am eternally grateful for since watching these dramas is our free hospital care. Don't get me wrong I have watched nothing but Korean and Chinese dramas for the last three years, you have awesome knowledge of your history and very nice looking actors/actresses. lols .

Me too. Probably because 2ML is not a coniving sort, hes quite forthcoming, no filter type. He would be my first choise on the looks and maturity side, and I love how he treats Choi HR like a peasant. lols I have a feeling she has alot to do with the Jin Woo's first partner (mother of his child) as they were best friends. As for ML he needs to grow up, hes very over the top jealous and I cant fathom why he did not tell on the Ceo's secretary for the hiding he received.

Also, I wonder where Eau Jin's mother lived when she was pregnant with Woo Jin? Was she not with the father, did she not live in that house where the grandmother and all live now? If so, why did she not recognise the house she cooked in?

Thank goodness it's finally going to change sides where YJ is going to depress the mother/daughter duo and fry their brains like they have done to her since the 1st episode. I will say this. These writers are awesome, I've never watched a 120 series where the pace is as fast as this one. Usually, you don't make this much progress until way after the 50th episode and there is normally multiple storylines for the different characters but this one focuses on just three families. Loving it so much. Well done.

Realistically, can men perform while drunk asleep? I think she just set it up to make it look like they done the deed.

Gosh, we still have 92 episodes to go, and it's made so much progress that I will be surprised if the big reveal about EJ does not happen in the next 20 episodes. Same with Choi Na Ra. Damn though, it looks like she's going to snare JW by default, false pregnancy I bet. One thing I like about the CEO is that she doesn't like Choi. I did flutter a bit at JW's crush on Yong he seems pretty decent and has lived an abusive childhood, mainly of neglect. The one angst I have about episode 28 is how the CEO's secretary acts as if he's doing nothing, why does he not think EJ will either call the cops or tell the grandmother? I hope in episode 29 she finds out what he did the prick.

Hong Ye Jin is a breath of fresh air, there is so many Korean actresses being used over and over again in these dramas. Also this actress is very pretty, suits period dramas and has maturity in her acting.

Come on!!! The most important witness for a Crown Prince at that, should have had several imperial guards there, but the queen manages to get one to open the door and murder the witness. What a joke.
