The most annoying character I've ever watched is Luo Yun!!! Like a bad smell that wouldn't go away, could she not get it in her brain, the prince was not into her whatsoever throughout the whole damn drama!!!! AND to think they still allowed her to be in the same room after stabbing FL? Also where was the harem? The empress dowager did not appear until after the palace siege and who would of had alot of say.
I do think she should’ve gotten a gift but she was also paid hourly wage for everything she did, so maybe that’s…
Yes she did get paid but I felt she warranted extra as she played the most dangerous role in their revenge scheme. I felt FL was quite mean to her sometimes.
I only watched as was hoping the Dad/ML would actually show more of a spine against everyone including his daughter! That family did not deserve the beautiful humble Mi Rae, how they all turned on her except for his sister-in-law and father as fast as the bitch daughter showed up. One thing confused me. Bitch daughter had got remarried in the States so wouldn't that have meant she committed bigamy and would have made his case for divorce so much easier? I absolutely hated the way he broke up with Mi Rae, his words were so cruel, and he ended up as evil as his ex-wife, there were so many other options to break up but to say he never loved her would be absolute grief but the lovely person she is she still wouldn't give up on him. I am not into abuse myself but someone should have slapped the living lights out of her, how dare she hit Mi Rae but I loved how she started sticking up for herself. ML was an awesome actor but I felt he mainly sounded out of breath throughout the series especially when arguing.
I have dropped this so many times as the female lead is excruciating to watch to the point i turn off the volume and read her parts in eng subs. Come on China, you need to get more actresses who dont look like kids, act like kids and talk like a kid. This FL has multiple dashing men trying to woo her and the only time she looks decent enough is when shes in a coma lying on the bed!!!
Series 2 Very delighted that they chose Sae Kyeong, my favourite Korean actress, she should have had this role from the start. I'm sorry though, not really feeling it with Joon Gi either since he has played evil roles in the past, kinda miss Joon-ki. It's even more noticeable the change in actors when you have binged the first series right up to Series 2. Really amazing how the stars can be made to look so young.
His Neanthal mother died giving birth to him and his father raised him hating him. Though I cant beleive he has got this far without being found out he is a Ingut. Surely as a warlord he has bled several times?
I dunno, I reckon the grandfather and his daughter are setting up a trap for their part for Sol, to reel in Chi Hwan which worked as he admitted everything and someone has video-recorded it all. Sol and Jin Woo were too close to not see the grandfather injured or being carried away by someone because how did they know he was in the hospital at the ending there?
Oh, I have watched untold Chinese palace historicals and this is one of the best I've seen. I really like the ML acting, he really suits this genre. It had me guessing a lot and the twists sure did surprise me. What I loved was the ending, it was not rushed, and they tidied up every storyline and gave the couple a very lovely wedding. Loved that the couple stayed true to each other, the jealousies were more playful than serious, the love triangle was Oh come on really? Lord Ding's stalker was so pathetic, this actress suits these types of roles nasty nasty. 2nd half was a bit draggy, especially with Shen, I mean how many times did it show him just staring into space lols. Overall for me a 9/10.
I wonder if Lord Ding and the Emperor are pretending to hate one another and are actually setting a trap for the princess.? Only because the Emperor would have guessed he had been drugged and drugged by whom and possibly talked it out with Lord Ding back then. I just think his supposed extreme jealousy over Ms. Mu is too over the top enough for him to turn on his only support.

I wonder if Im Jung has had her senses knocked back into place? and hahaha to Sol even asking her father for the reward hahaha
