I should have waited till all of the episodes where out, this isnt the type of drama i would enjoy watching weekly

This show was great up until the last 4 episodes

Definitely better than my dear boy

I was expecting a tear jerker and it wasn't, up until the last 10 minutes i thought this was a fairly upbeat movie

Im still waiting for the part where i start enjoying this

Is there a difference between the uncut and the other version, im the type to watch director's versions of movies because i dont like missing out on anything

Sidenote, the sfl is gorgeous 😍

There were 2 things i was dreading as i was watching, an amnesia storyline or a dumb breakup that makes no sense. Thankfully, that didnt happen.
In spite of that this is still just an okay show

The very definition of mediocre, youll like this one when you run out of things to watch

The last arc was a bit of a mess, the last episode felt so rushed that it felt like they needed 3 episodes sandwiched into one. In spite of all of that i had a great time watching this

Also, even if he was delusional and overestimating his persuasive skills, he still would have told her before any variables got in the way.

I can agree with that, him selling makes sense. But not telling her even after everyone else knows is just an illogical decision that dosent make sense of his character

not when it comes to the beginning when it comes to the purchase of teng Yue.

from the very beginning his family and his ex emphasized several times how he separated his emotions from business shows so I don't by this delusion angle because even from a business perspective withholding crucial info that might cause high disfunction within the company is just dumb

but with his mentality throughout the show, he has been an opportunist who assesses situations and is a great problem solver and risk mitigator. the him from earlier episodes would have told her about the sale in a private place and given info in a way that would make her understand his thought process and how it would benefit her, even if there was a disagreement it wouldn't have escalated to this scale and he should know that

Side note- i think everything else about the show has been great, i understand people might not like ZGY, but she has been consistently arrogant and selfish from episode 1 so the writers clearly knew what they were doing

Xu Si is written poorly in this. In the beginning he was a decisive smart opportunist who made rational decisions even if it was hard i.e wanting his mom to sell the factory . How is it that all of a sudden the man cannot comprehend how this is seen as a betrayal by JH because he didnt have the nerve to tell her himself yet he found the time to notify everyone else.
That being sad, this is one of those shows that would need a 5 year time skip and xu si getting some therapy for it to make sense that they get back together

The last episodes has some funny stuff in there but overall that last half was a mess.
It felt like after the "villains" become more prominent EVERY character on the show become inconsistent and not cohesive at all. Character actions where driven by whatever the writers wanted to happen towards the end, instead of how in the beginning when it was consistent character work and the story was progessing, slowly, in a way that made sense. The actress playing the FL needs to have a serious talk with her agent because she has 2 drama airing at the same time with the same issue and so does some of her past work

There is no way that the writers who wrote the first half of this drama wrote the last episodes

Not a fan of the pacing, i think ill just wait until all of the episodes are out
