I guess I’m the odd one out who actually really enjoyed this. There were obvious issues like the wigs, but overall I was glued to the screen ready to see what would come up next in the story for each character! Probably even geared up at least once per episode…More towards the ending. 🤧🥲 I love how they ended Champ with being happy being back home with his parents and being patient for the right person to cross his path at the right time (at work). This story covered so so many different topics, living situations, and sexualities. Em/Name was probably my bias couple. This didn’t give me the boredom some shows gave me with the dialogue like in Check Out. I realize this is realistic fiction, so people complaining about every little detail of the series, like someone mentioned why the girl getting married at the end named every issue she had in life…I didn’t care. It added to the feel. And weddings like that had everyone who were close and knew each others problems and grew up together from children. So, for all we know this is normal in Thailand. Overall I really loved it! 😍🥲
If Syn gets ordained, wouldn't there be an expectation of celibacy? I've read of some Buddhist monks in Japan…
If you take a peek at some Thai BL actors Instagram history you’ll see where they are ordained for a fairly short period as a novice monk like Rudeavarman mentioned. It’s in several BLs as well, like Type in the ending of TharnType. If you look at the Instagram for Max Nattapol (of MaxTul - @maxiiin_) you can see where he posted of his real life ordaination from his being a novice monk back in June 2022. Pretty interesting! 😁
Overall really enjoyed it! Just put the fact of everyone going to a bunker during the end of the world in the back of my head since that simply didn’t make sense/ignored it time and time again. Very unique and different compared to other shows. It was a drama, and I don’t think most people would have acted the way they did, but ya know. I was hoping the bad guys would have switched around and made better choices at the end, but that was some drama to keep us going. 😝 The only thing that majorly stood out to me as a fail was how I’m EP9, Golf’s blood drip was swinging around on his face when he got up coughing then it totally disappeared without at least getting a wipe off appearance to the makeup. Oops! My guess is that it was either the best or only shot for that sequence so Aam had to keep it. Apart from that and the crazy/unrealistic skin peel at the start of EP10, the effects and things were fine for me. I enjoyed it quite a bit despite bits of the storyline not making since. Decided to hand it an 8/10. I’m too nice to go lower. 🥲😂
From what I understood, Be My Boyfriend 2 is the name of the concert they are practicing for (hence the reason…
So, as in there was already a first concert without a series or movie? And it just happens to be the title of this one? So we aren’t missing anything if we haven’t watched a prequel to this? (/one doesn’t exist?)
