I have watched over a 100 dramas and this is the best one
The acting, music, writing, scenery, characters, storyline. Everything is absolutely perfect in this drama. After watching 100+ dramas, I have only rated 1 other show a 10. It is that good.It does take like 3 episodes to get into it, because they're starting slow with the background story, but after that you'll be hooked!
I also never rewatch dramas, but this one and Reply 1988 were the ones I watched two times and would recommend to everyone. The characters are very fleshed out and likeable and compared to other dramas that get worse in the second part, this one only gets better. So if you're considering watching thisn I would absolutely recommend it!

Good show about the idea of marriage
I really liked this drama and bingewatched it without fastforwarding through boring parts, which I do with 9/10 drama's after the first couple of episodes. the side characters were interesting, although I thought her friend who wanted to get married was really toxic to her boyfriend.I would've rated this 9/10 if it weren't for the ending though, were the FL went off the rails. Without spoiling too much, her behaviour in the last two episodes was manipulative, toxic and selfish and I didn't care about the story from that moment on. I wish she had communicated with him instead of what she did, but oh well. It was a great watch overall, except the last two episodes so I would still recommend it.
I would've rated this 9/10 if it weren't for the ending though. the

Not worth the 8.9
When I look at other shows rated around a 9 like Crashlanding On You and Hometown Cha Cha Cha, for example, it becomes clear that this one has been overrated. My main issue is that I don’t think their love story has been build up properly. They didn’t communicate at all during their marriage as she didn’t speak and he didn’t bother to learn sign language. Before that they vaguely knew each other as kids, so what do they love about each other when they barely know each other? And “he’s always loved her” is not an answer. ML did a 180 from cold to washing her hair within like 2 episodes lol. I just don’t see their romance as being realistic. She should’ve just taken revenge with the burner phone instead of the couple’s counseling we got. Every love scene feels so corny to me, like, you guys don’t even know each other be for real. If it was build up properly and slowly before they went in for the big love confession it would’ve been much better. Now I’m left thinking why and when did you fall in love?
The thriller part of it is okay, better than the romance anyway. I don’t think the doctor and news anchor really add anything to the story though. This would’ve worked better as an 8 episode series I think. ML could’ve realised several times that the FL was behind the calls before he finally did in like episode 8. There’s too much romance filler and angst in between.

Interesting story
The story got me hooked since episode 1 and so far at episode 6 I'm still really enjoying it. It's fast paced, intruiging and the FL and ML are doing an amazing job actingwise. I tend to fastforward a lot or watch in 2x the speed, but I haven't been fastforwarding with this one so that's definitely a good sign.I think this show is at least an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 so far. It's underrated at the current 8.2, especially compared with some other shows that are currently airing and rated higher but are much less watchable in my opinion.
