Title Part for Ever Spoiler
This was such trash, but ML is gorgeous so I managed to finish it with some fastforwarding. It's all just miscommunication, so frustrating. My favorite part was when he married that evil bitch so he could get the antidote and instead of telling FL why he did that, he says the most hurtful shit and makes her a concubine and the evil bitch the primary wife LOL and then he had the nerve to be shocked when FL left him? seriously I couldn't stop laughing at this plot. Like he promised the evil bitch he'd act like the wedding was for real, but just because of a stupid promise he didn't tell FL the truth either and said cruel words to her?? What was his plan there, treat his wife cruely for the rest of their lives because of a stupid promise to the villain? And don't get me started on FL not telling him it's his baby, like he had only 2 seconds with the kid before dying. 2nd ML actually had to tell him it's his child lol, I can't stand plots based on miscommunication. But yeah ML is very hot so I'm rating this 10/10 (jk)

Title Broken the Heart Spoiler
This was a total waste of time. Not psychologically dark enough like Enslaved by Love, Love & Bid Farewell and Circle of Love for example, so for me it misses the mark. There their dynamic feels twisted and fucked up, yet passionate which makes it conflicting to watch. This show just feels silly compared to those, he claims he abuses her to protect her, but all he had to do was tell her it was all pretending like in Eternal Love and then she wouldn't have been so heartbroken. Also the extend in which he was abusing her was ridiculous, you're not gonna tell me he had to have sex with his concubine in front of her to protect her lol. And then she has the chance to be with the perfect guy, who put his whole clan in danger to protect her (this is actual protection) and she just goes back to the abuser who was like "I didn't really mean it lol". Yeah they didn't commit to the psychological darkness and there's no passion to make up for it. Dropped at episode 15

Title Love & Bid Farewell Spoiler
When I started watching this I had already read spoilers that the ML was gonna end up toxic, but the first 12 episodes I was like: how, he's just a regular nice guy? Until episode 13 comes along and she wants to leave him. Things started off bad with the confinement and everytime I thought it couldn't get worse he somehow managed to come up with even more cruel shit, to the point where he became a straight up villain caught up in his obsession. The main lead did such a great job though, I actually pitied him because he was so delusional and kept thinking she would love him again if he just kept her with him. He didn't even realise or care how much he was hurting her in the process. There were even times where I was hoping she would forgive him somehow, I actually had to remind myself that he was a horrible human being who doesn't deserve pity after all he's done. The way he would convince himself she still loved him over the smallest things was tough to watch. Also seeing FL going from a strong woman to a broken down shell was heartbreaking too. I found the ending perfect, he knew he would die but he knowingly walked into it. I didn't expect her to still love him at the end but I guess she couldn't help herself and she had lost the last person who loved her and who she loved so them dying together felt fitting for this already toxic relationship. The best part was him telling her I hope you don't meet anybody like me again, at least he had some self awareness at the end. 8.5/10 for me. It reminded me of goodbye my princess, but the ML there is actually a nice guy compared to this ML lol

Title Prince of Lan Ling Spoiler
Yeah dropped this at episode 28. ML falling for the evil maid's schemes and blaming FL for everything pissed me off so much and after all that he just says "I'm sorry" and FL forgives him like that lol. I just couldn't like him anymore after he betrayed her like that, who disrespects his wife like that for a maid? He literally had no boundries with her. He was feeding the evil woman medicine even though the maid said she'd do it but he was like nah I'll do it lol whyyy you're married, he was staying by her bed til she falls asleep, accepting her jade pendant, promising to marry her because she was supposedly assaulted even tho it was another scheme and he never believed FL when she spoke up about it, just called her unreasonable and jealous and meanwhile he's just spending all day with this evil woman and she touches him inappropriately and he still thinks it's okay lol. It got to the point that he tells the FL why are you even married to me if you don't trust me, I was rolling my eyes like crazy, maybe because you're stupid as fuck not to realise this woman is a scheming bitch and you're letting it happen and are direspecting your wife. Seriously this ML is the dumbest character ever, isn't he supposed to be a smart general and prince? Yeah a sorry is not good enough after everything he put her through. I wished the 2nd ML would've taken her back to his country cause he was way more deserving of her love. The main leads also have zero chemistry, they're supposed to be so in love but I have no idea why cause they never show us any development.

Mu Yao is also hell bent on the truth/justice than revenge. she only finally let go when she realized FL lost…
haha I actually forgot so much about the drama since it's been a month and I have a horrible memory so let's just say I misunderstood the story lol. I just would've preferred it if it all wasn't a dream and she got her happy peaceful ending with the bodyguard in the village. That was a perfect ending to me, since she wanted to be free and not coped up in some mansion. But I heard that China's censorship doesn't allow a second life story, which is probably why they went for the it was all a dream plot and that her leaving the noodles was the novel's original ending

Title Good Bye, My Princess Spoiler
This is going to be really long, because I just finished it and I have a lot of feelings about it lol. This show could've been a masterpiece, but it unfortunately failed to deliver. The first 15 episodes are absolutely brilliant, if I had known that would be where the story peaked, I would've watched until they jumped into the river of forgetfulness and dropped the rest of it tbh. They set up the story so well in the first arc with her being carefree, happy, loved by her family and Gu Jian, riding horses in the desert. It was amazing story building, so when all that gets taken away from her, you really feel her pain. She was ultimately betrayed by the person who she trusted and loved the most, him pushing her unto Li Chengyin on that bridge was heartbreaking. She kept looking back at him but he was set on betraying her, I was yelling No don't go please because we knew what was coming. If only she had managed to elope with Gu Jian none of this shit would've happened, but he ended up making a choice he would regret for the rest of his life. Then she meets the crown prince again who lies to her from the beginning about his identity and manipulates her trust to get her to lead them to her grandpa so he can annihilate her whole family. A grandpa who loved her and doted on her, warrior cousins on whose knees she would rest her head and who had always protected her. Once again the love for her family was established well, so the climax of the betrayal hits even harder. The main leads fell in love along the way, but never does he stop going for his goal even though he knew how much it was gonna hurt her that she was the one who brought the prince to her family. The fact that her family took him in and treated him as their own added another layer to the betrayal, it was hard to watch. Some scenes that stood out is the prince suddenly riding over and switching sides on the battleground and putting on his Li armor, that was absolutely brilliant and gut wrenching. Then when he beheads her grandpa and she sees it and just absolutely loses it in the tent while screaming in so much pain. My heart broke for FL. At least ML had the decency to act a little bit sorry at that point. Another great part was when Gu Jian ties her to his back and takes her away, the prince tries to stop them but she just hangs there without looking at him and silently cries, utterly defeated so the prince lets them leave. She then finds out Gu Jian betrayed her too, that her mother is dead and her father went crazy leaving her with basically no one and it was all her fault for falling in love with the enemy. I felt so much for her. The first part was emotional, gut wrenching, beautiful 10/10. Now, while I understand that they had to give her amnesia, because how could she live with the guilt of this all, I hated that they made him forget too. After they jump in the river the show takes a serious nose dive. She wakes up at the palace and the next 30 episodes it's just ML being mean to her to "protect" her. Even making her believe he's in love with that concubine and openly favoring her. It's even implied that he sleeps with the concubine to keep up pretenses, they hug so many times it was just gross. I know he was using her to "protect" FL but he could've let FL know about it like in 10 miles of peach blossoms where the ML tells Susu he has to be mean to her to protect her. Here though, he never explains his behavior to her and almost to the end she believed he only loved the concubine. What was even the point of marrying her if he couldn't even show the most basic decency to her. He was yelling at her, sticking up for the concubine but not her, he slapped her (!) and then was like "i had to" to his general, no wtf you could've just fake yelled at her again, what do you mean you had to slap her. And then after all this she still fell in love with him the second time? I don't buy that she could've loved him with how he was treating her, even though it was an act from his part. What I would've preferred is for their marriage to have been happy, preferably with his memories intact making her fall in love with him again while navigating the guilt of what he did to her. Imagine the pay off if she had a loving marriage, gets her memories back and realises it was all based on a lie? That's why I think him forgetting ruins the show after the first arc. He literally only remembers in the last episode, so we don't even see him deal with the guilt for what he did to her. It was a waste of 30 episodes of bickering, her being annoying outside the palace and contstantly causing trouble. Safe to say I skipped a lot in the middle as there was no character development and the scenes got repetive. But then the last 5 episodes or so become brilliant again. I know a lot of people hate Gu Jian, but I just couldn't. Him betraying her in the beginning caused him so much regret and pain that he could only be by her side to protect her and drink himself to death every night. He was also a victim of the circumstances and pushed into it by his obsessed godfather, who was willing to hurt innocent people to get to his goal. What's important to me is that Gu Jian regretted it so much it was killing him (Something ML never does after he loses his memories) and during her time at the palace where she was isolated and lonely, he kept her company. He shouldn't have lied to her, but he had her best interest at heart which was taking her away from that place even though she didn't want to go. But ultimately taking her away from there was the best option for her, proved by the fact that she tries to leave several times after she regains her memories. He was the only one who saw how cruel it was to leave her there with everything ML had done to her in the best. Adu and the general just kept the truth from her, never intending to tell her or take her away and save her like Gu Jian. Yes he lied too, but at least he was trying to help her even when she didn't know she didn't belong there among her enemies. Another reason I can't hate Gu Jian is when the prince shoots that final whistle and Gu Jian rushes over even though he knew it was a trap, tells me what kind of person he is. He would do anything for FL and by protecting her and taking her away he had already made up for his sins in my eyes. FL said he wasn't gonna come cause she's not that important, but of course he came. He would do anything for her. Him getting pierced by the arrows was so painful for me, especially with ML going all psycho pulling her head to force her to watch and FL just absolutely breaking down. Then when she cradled his body and sang to him, I totally broke down. Also when he gave her the hairpin and she told him "I'm gonna put it in so you can see how it looks", man so sad. The flashbacks to their happy past intertwined with the sad memories were brilliantly done. She had ultimately forgiven him for what he did. That one mistake which he regretted for the rest of his life was undone by him coming to her for the last time when she needed him. So I can't hate him for betraying her nor for lying to her. He was the person she loved the most in the world, even if it wasn't romantic anymore and he got shot by her husband. That was the point where there was absolutely no going back anymore, ML had become a straight up cruel villain and it was brilliant. What I loved too was when she leaves the city and runs into the general and despite being all about duty the entire series, he decides to let her leave. He too cared a lot about her and was a victim of guilt for what they did to her. I loved his character so much and him letting her go was one of the climaxes of the show. Unfortunately it came down to a war again and FL ends up sacrificing her life to prevent it. I unexpectedly felt sorry for the ML, he had just gotten his memories back (in the last fucking episode, another missed opportunity) and I can't imagine what was going through his head and then to lose her like this immediately was horrible. He didn't even have time to process his memories, I wanted to know if he regretted not loving her better in the palace, even when only in private. And if he regretted not telling her he treated her like that to protect her. And a proper apology for everything would've been nice. I wish they gave them more time to talk about the past, the fact that he gets his memories back isn't really explored. I do like that they referenced the 3 wishes from the very beginning, and living well being one of them. She knew he'd off himself so she used her final wish as an oath to keep him alive. She's a better person than me. I liked it honestly, though I wish it wouldn't have been a war she was preventing but more of a private moment with the ML where she could've told him what he did wrong and then killed herself because she couldn't live with him and with herself. But yeah her dying was the only possible outcome, this story couldn't have ended up happy. All in all the first 15 episodes and the last 5 are brilliant, the middle 40 episode or so are basically filler and I feel like a wrongly chosen plot because a happy marriage with his memories intact, knowing he's deceiving her would've made for a much more tragic ending once she gets her memories back. This way there was barely even love between them with the fighting non stop and her thinking he doesn't love her. I don't regret watching this, the beginning and ending were so good 9.5/10, but the middle is a 7/10 for me, with the amnesia being the biggest reason.

Title Hard to Find Spoiler
This was very good! It had me hooked from the first episode, I would rate it an 8.5. The story did get a bit draggy in the last couple of episodes, with them searching for the damn sticks and failing and living in the clinic so I started to fast forward because I could already see where it was going. It probably could've been wrapped up in 24 episodes, but despite the draggy ending I really think it's worth the watch. Both leads are amazing and the SML knew when to give up, so I respect that. The only thing I didn't like is that they had a kid but it was treated more like a plot device than that they had an emotional bond with the child. That's why I don't think he's selfish by killing himself in the end, he never had a fatherly bond with the child and they established that the cousin and the crown prince would bring her up (I didn't really like that plotline, I skipped so much of the cousins scenes). The ending was fitting, if we weren't getting a happy ending where both of them live then it made sense to me that both of them died. It fits his character, I can't imagine him going on with all the guilt he carried for her death. Although I don't want to romanticize suicide, it's just a show and to me his ending made sense.

Dropped this at episode 10 after FL makes ML jump through hoops just to marry her. It was so frustrating to watch, as he was so devoted to her and stood up against his mom for her and here she was actively chasing other engagements for like half of their screentime. Also I realized I didn't care about any of the sisters, so probably wasn't gonna care for their respective love stories either.

Title Romance of a Twin Flower Spoiler
Dropped this at episode 18. I really loved the first 15 episodes or so, the mainleads have the cutest dynamic and there is hardly any miscommunication. The leads really nailed the comedy and had great banter. But then after he tells her her real identity I was so fed up with FL. Yes she's allowed to be mad he didn't tell her earlier, but she forgave him at the prison when she was framed and then he saved her life twice and she took care of him for days when he was recovering but then she just.. leaves? Without saying goodbye too and all smiling, it's like she doesn't even give a fuck about ML. And ML ends up like an idiot in love, chasing her and being rejected. I would get it if she had a reason to reject him at that point, but she literally doesn't as she's already forgiven him so she came across as a spoiled brat turning him down after everything he's done for her. I'm not really interested in watching ML be a simp and chasing the FL just to be turned down every time for no reason.

dropped this after the FL change. The first one is a natural beauty and classy, I couldn't get into the second one, she felt too young and plastic to me. They could've just kept the first one and tell us her face got changed by making the characters go like "wow she looks a lot like Cai Wei" like in a lot of these face swap dramas. Eternal love did the same with Susu and when she came back in the 3rd arc, forgot her name

Started skipping some scenes early on, but it was interesting enough to not drop it. Around episode 20 though it got really ridiculous, especially the "relationship" between the main leads. In episode 23 she reveals to him she only married him because of YET ANOTHER scheme and he chokes her and at this point the FL is so unlikable that I was like yes please choke her to death and end this tragedy. Somehow the guy doing the choking wasn't the bad guy in that scene, kinda impressive. The way she smirks while he chokes her like she's this amazing mastermind annoyed the hell out of me. If it wasn't for him marrying her she would be on the streets because she literally has no skill to survive on her own or she would be murdered by her own family. There was literally nothing left of their relationship by episode 23, just her being cold and obsessed with revenge. ML saved her life so many times, yet she acts like he's her worst enemy and he didn't even do anything unforgiving. She's become such a villain, I really hate that instead of making her a strong character they decided to do this.. Actually forcing ML to do something through an imperial edict, threatening to reveal his identity which could get his whole family killed and having the nerve to act smug about it. Man I wish he had choked her.

I was so excited to watch this, I love a good rebirth and revenge story but unfortunately ended up dropping this after episode 2. Maybe it's because it's only 24 episodes, but there is just too much happening in too little time that makes it feel rushed. It's hard to connect with the characters as they do a lot of narrating instead of showing the viewers. There is so much happening in just 2 episodes that you're not left with any breathing room to process it or in my case care about what's happening. I ended up fastforwarding in episode 1 already, which is never a good sign so I decided to drop. Also, I really liked the ML in generation to generation, but here he looks so skinny and pale idk if it's the makeup but it's not doing him any favors as he's usually very handsome

Title Love in Pavilion Spoiler
I was wondering why this drama was rated low, because I really enjoyed the beginning but actually found myself dropping it around episode 20. I'm not even sure what it was, but I found myself losing interest as the story went on and just wanted it to be over. Maybe it's cause of way too many side characters, so the story got stretched thin. Every damn character is gorgeous too, it felt like overkill whenever a new character would be introduced and it ended up being yet another gorgeous person. I was like omg just introduce a regular ass looking person, they can't all be so good looking. The FL was great in a Journey to Love but here she had zero emotions, to the point where I didn't see what ML saw in her except that she's beautiful. Her relationship with ML wasn't developed at all, they met like twice and all of a sudden they're in love and he would sacrifice his life for her? So I couldn't really get into the main leads relationship. I much preferred Yitan's relationship with Zui, they were so cute and because it was a slow burn it was developed much better. But reading how he's gonna be the one to kill her under mind control sounds way too tragic for me, so I'm not watching that lol. I was hoping they could change the future since they know what will happen, but the same thing ends up happening and I'm not in for yet another tragic drama where the evil guys have the upper hand the whole time. episode 20 is a good place to drop

I liked it in the beginning, but now at episode 10 I'm getting real annoyed with FL. You'd think she'd realise her feelings by now, but she is frustratingly oblivious. Even after they kiss, even after everyone tells her that it's love, even after he tells her he likes her and wants to make her his wife, even after all those romantic moments where she stares wide eyed which makes you believe she finally gets it, but she doesn't... she still talks about leaving all the time. As if she can find a better husband, he's sweet, smart, patient with her dumbass, good at martial arts, respects the fact she wants to leave, he's a prince and wants her as his only wife in a time where everyone has 20 concubines. The fuck does she want to happen before she finally accepts him? I read that she accepts his feelings at episode 11 but then asks for a divorce at 20 and wants to go home again, sorry but I don't have the patience for this shit as watching her be so oblivious when she obviously likes him is way too annoying

Title The Rise of Phoenixes Spoiler
The only reason I didn't drop this was for the main leads. The actors were amazing and their characters had such amazing chemistry just by looking at each other. You'd have them biting each other or holding their faces to one another and it'd be more intimate than a kiss lol. I haven't seen a relationship in a drama that was as fun, flirty, clever with lots of banter like theirs. Honestly one of my favorite couples in cdrama. Until episode 50 of course because jesus.. it's a crime what they did to their relationship. Their fun dynamic completely disappears in the last 20 episodes, Ning Yi's personality change gave me whiplash and all they did was cry and say good bye to each other like 10 times. I knew it was doomed from the start, but I wish they had given them more time to be together and that their separation was excecuted differently. I fastforwarded a lot during the last 20 episodes but even the interactions between the main leads didn't interest me anymore. They ruined them to the point that I was like yeah ok makes sense that she offed herself, I didn't even want them together anymore. I felt the most sad for Nan Yi, left without his family again. I had read that it goes off track around episode 50 and it sure does. I also found FL reason to kill herself pretty stupid, yes many people died for her but it was to protect her and she just let them die in vain by killing herself. Pretty ungrateful. And Ning Yi becoming a shell of his former self after becoming the emperor was a slap in the face. I would've much preferred it if he had become a commoner and they'd lived happy somewhere in seclusion, being grateful for all the people that protected them by giving their lives.

Title Eternal Love Spoiler
I loved this so much, it had me binging till 3 am. While the story isn't anything mindblowing, it kept me on the edge of my seat. The romance starts off as sweet and kinda boring as Susu doesn't really have a personality, but then becomes incredibly tragic when ML lets FL down by not protecting her from his evil family. This ends in him taking her actual eyes (this was so hard to watch, the way she backed away from him in fear and he still did it) to give to the horrible villain and eventually her suicide. He actually thought blinding her was the only way to protect her and that marrying her after that would make her happy? I cheered when she jumped off the platform, ML got what he deserved. Then after she comes back as a goddess she is so strong and untouchable, none of the schemes of that evil bitch can touch her and all the villains get their karma (except for ML's family unfortunately). Her taking back her eyes from that bitch was one of the highlights. Also ML telling that bitch that the only reason he kept her alive was because she had Susu's eyes and when he stabbed her on their wedding day was great. ML was really devoted and had to fight to make her love him again after being used to women obsessing over him at first sight. I love how he never wavers and also when he found out that his fiance was actually Susu was great, he was so happy and me too lol. The ending was kinda rushed but I would rate this 9/10 for how much enjoyment I got out of this. Also shout out to Mo Yuan, who loved her so selfishly and knew when to let her go. When he told her wait for me and she thought he meant he was speaking to the whole sect was so sad. Then he spends 70.000 years restoring his soul to come back to her and when he wants to confess again that it was just for her she once again says "yeah you did it for all of us" this girl can be really dumb. After he wakes up and finds out she's engaged to his brother and she sees him as a father figure breaks my heart. The way he looks at her with so much love and sadness! But I love a guy who knows when to let go and he only wanted the best for her and at the end he just smiled when he heard that she can finally get married when the ML came back to life. 9/10 I did skip all of the demon lord scenes and the romance between the emperor and the fox niece

Title Ashes of Love Spoiler
So when I started watching this I thought about dropping it like 20 times. The female lead was portrayed as a literal 5 year old child, I found it hard to watch as she was very annoying. She didn't know the difference between a man and a woman, yet they had her in romantic situations which made me feel uncomfortable and for some reason 2 princes fell in love with her childlike behavior. Also they fell in love with her so quickly, there wasn't any build up and as a slow burn lover I just didn't feel the depth of their connection or why they were even in love. I decided to just fast forward and stick around because I read that it would get better later on and I'm glad I did! Now it wasn't anything mindblowing, but I just really loved the main lead. He was willing to sacrifice the throne, his evil mother and his life for her. I like a ML that doesn't waver. They managed to establish somewhat of a deeper relationship between them in the mortal realm, their relationship was sweet and drama free and fun to watch. As they got to spend more time together it got easier to root for them and I felt like they connected on a deeper level there. Female lead stopped behaving like a child and luckily didn't regress for the rest of the series. I did skip all the side stories and mostly watched the main lead's scenes as I found a lot of the side characters boring and sometimes they would take up like 80% of an episode. I loved the arc where he was a demon and acting like he was over her, which he clearly wasn't. Though the hugging with the evil princess grossed me out, but by ML's expression and body language he was grossed out too lol. I loved how in the last episode ML cleared all the misunderstandings with his inner dialogue. I was like wtf when he called evil lady's name when he kissed FL drunkily, but turns out he was doing it on purpose to try not to fall for FL again and that he instantly regretted doing that once she leaves. Their kisses lacked chemistry, but the one on the bed after they're apart and he supposedly hates her was so passionate! The ending is also great, I love a good happy ending and they got everything that they wanted. Overall I would rate this an 8/10 cause while I did enjoy the romance, the side plots were pretty boring.
