That question is diffidently not normal to ask when you're getting to know someone, unless you're looking for sex. I totally agree with them finding it rude. It's not out of touch with the reality of gay dating life unless you're talking to someone on grindr. Unfortunately that app ruined what a normal conversation between two gays should be like. For me it was so obvious since episode 1 that Nio wasn't into Eri. Eri is such a beautiful soul, but we need to put in mind that not everyone is into feminine guys which is ok. Two new scenes, and one of them is at the end after the credit. But unfortunately they cut off a few cute scenes that were my favorite. If anyone watching this story for the first time I recommend watching the series first.
