I have enjoyed it very much, but after watching it also emerged some mixed conclusions that keeps me back = instead of entertainment I got rather moral lessons: - it has strong emphasis on moral lessons: capital should be social responsible / parents should let children live their life, if they cannot really provide constructive support / ambition should be contained by ethics / for healthy couple relations, you need to put first the better of both, etc; - it runs like a showcase of several couples, so you get a mixed romance & moral vibes... thus some of the situations felt forced and/or ambiguous; - title is not really consistent with actual stories: imo it was more like firecrackers instead of fireworks. Regardless, as I usually score actors performances and ability to get me immersed in the story, it gets >9 in my C-drama universe.
HULU original: follow-up story with Manami and Soma "the only male friend"; 2eps x 10min "Too sweat dream and the Siege" The serial murders were solved, and although Manami was deeply hurt, she began to move forward. Kuroiwa (Takumi Nishigaki), a junior detective who had feelings for Manami, earned the title of her only male friend. 🛑🛑🛑to those who finish this drama answer my question pleaseQuestion1. Happy ending?2. Story?3. Chemistry?4.…
1. HE yes 2. couple-back story with childish intrigues 3. super chemistry between FL/ML 4. enough scenes and credible extra: as the story is about fashion industry, all actors/actresses are good looking, nice clothing.
It genuinely surprises me when people say they didn’t see Chen Yan Yun’s love for Jin Zhao or that it came…
Glad someone saw the same about CYY/GJZ relationship... As he was intrigued and moved from the very beginning by the non-conforming behavior of a young, smart and full-of-life lady, then he become curious and the urge of protecting her was raising... and all these you got them from the glazes, small gestures of Ci Sha = excellent actor! Then you see how her feelings are unfolding and developing: dire admiration for a man with heavy titles at young age, admired & followed by her grandmother (the best reference for GJZ); you see she's somehow waiving between admiration and fear to enter in talk/deals with him, then she's realizing - to her dismay - he is not so fearful, on the contrary he is understanding her very well, gently protect and guide her => she discover how comfortable is she feeling in his presence, how fulfilled following his advice; from this stage to get in love with CYY is just a natural fall. Ren Min managed to convey this transition, not so visible under her bubbling behavior, but clearly there for a close watcher. Definitely this is a drama worth rewatching - there are so many scenes with delicate details.
