I think this is.. great? having to see the expression of the young lead in the very first episode which was so…
I share with you that this drama is not for everyone. you need to understand the challenges of marriage after a certain time passed: love is fading smoothly against routine life, is not easy to get settled if you are not able to find yourself while completing your spouse; this is what Natsu and Kazu succeeded so well that they were able to go through their love crisis (passion crushes).
I liked the show overall, the ending tho gave me a bittersweet taste
indeed, the bittersweet taste impressed me also. I finished recently to watch this show, after a long break because that; just realized the bittersweet mood is actually the "magic touch" of this show: as in real life, bittersweet is the main taste. I took the ending more on the sweet side as Yi was portrayed as a brave, self-empowered woman , thus she is not afraid to love/trust again.
From my side it's interesting; not really the story, but trying to understand the reasoning behind main characters behavior. unfortunately, I'm not speaking JP so I need to wait for subbed episodes in order to understand that.
I need help from JP native/proficient colleagues on MDL: at one moment Chiharu says "I like Takuya because his scent like the sun/sunshine"; what is the meaning of this expression, what is the actual feeling? love/romantic, love/family, love/platonic, love/fondness?
Omg Chiharu is a legit Psycho! The ML needs to RUN!
Indeed! to have 3-4 affair partners in order to "be able love her husband!?" Takuya will end like Meguro from "Tokyo Camouflage Hours": accept the pain, enjoy the lie.
Fun watch. It should have ended before the time jump though.
I also had fun watching. I found the ending interesting, with some classic life-lessons conclusions (or wisdom sayings): "what's not killing you, makes you stronger"/Hiroto, "you sleep in the bed you made yourself"/Meguro; "you can only live your life"/ Sone.
As I do not speak Japanese, I could not understand the ending. pls share with me your conclusions / thoughts.…
Hey! I do like your continuation... it connects with Sera fortuneteller story.
Still feel bad for Saeko; it's hard to remain straight-forward and open as an adult and I feel the need to give her this chance (with Shotaru she could have a base to rely on - the one that Sera shamefully destroyed).
Thank you for sharing your imagination! See you on other MDL pages!

More interesting would be for me what happens next. Being open-ending, everybody would imagine her/his continuation. While Arisa seems to chose to break the cycle (get out from the connecting line of life), what will happen with Saeko? I am interested in your opinions/continuation... (mine would be: Saeko got hit by that vase and is losing again the baby; Shotaru will stay close to her and help her rebuild the life; she's will finally get Shotaru as the right life partner (the one who really appreciate her qualities) and thus breaking also the cycle/line)
I really appreciated the show, mainly for the performance of Wakana and Kei (it seems it was a good year for Mrs.…
Thanks to Viki I was able to watch and rewatch the episodes so that I would get a deeper understanding of the story. Wakana and Kei really got you immersed in their strive to find a way out from challenging situations: Kei/Hiroki: should I forget my feelings/ego and raise a beloved child that is not mine? my love for Miwa and her baby is strong enough to face the future bad feelings? Wakana/Miwa: I treasure my baby and I love Hiroki, but staying together I know my beloved Hiroki would be hurt; can I live with that - intentionally hurting my love? Strong questions! What would you do in their position? I liked the ending bcs they took the difficult path: to strive together and overcome future troubles together; based on their mutual love and regained mutual trust I think that is happy ending.
I really appreciated the show, mainly for the performance of Wakana and Kei (it seems it was a good year for Mrs. Wakana Matsumoto). The story was also interesting, IMO with realistic progress after "accidents" stormed the boring and frustrating life of FL and ML.
Hey! Finally finished this show ^_^ Thanks for asking for my thoughts! ^_^ I was surprised by how many people…
I'm glad you enjoyed the show and that I could be of help with my recommendation. Recently I watched and commented Musashi no Rondo; the show is still not available with full EN subs, but I managed to get the story and mood/feelings. If it's also on you interest zone, I would be curious about your findings. Take care
Even though it has a happy ending, the main couple needed more romantic scenes. Lead guy is handsome; kind looks…
I think that would be one of the specific nice feature of J-dramas: although shorter in lengths, it let you imagine the flavored/spiced interactions between main characters.
I have second hand embarrassment from all these negative comments here. So, you guys think it's okay for men to…
Movie is from 2008; I suppose at that time culture in KR was quite misogynistic, so the movie was a cry to defeat the norms. Currently the challenge moved to individual freedom & happiness versus marriage responsibilities & self-respect. Recomend to watch Kanojo ga Sore mo Ai to Yobunara for a perspective closer to current times.
I can't get mad at the movie but I will be mad at the characters lmao. I think the writing does a good job of…
I watched this movie in the wake of Kanojo ga Sore. While MFGM shows selfish central character, KGS dwells into central character with mutual respect. At the end of the day, I think these kind of relationships could strive only based on reciprocal love & respect. From cultural perspective, it could work in countries where people focus in present, with little concern about future; also as cultural treat, paramount is strong focus on individual well-being (strong egocentric perception) with perception that life is actually a lonely journey between birth and death. Common lesson I took from these performances: be brave when making you life-bending decision, accept that many times your current decision will be challenged by future situations => be brave again to make another decision at that moment in the future.
There is also spin-off episode, in which there should be some clarifications of what happened after the wedding…
I was not able to watch the spin-off eps. Anybody who could follow the link to HULU, pls do so and share with us the findings. Many thanks in advance! https://www.ytv.co.jp/kanosore/spinoff
I think you could have enhanced spectator experience if you would see "Kanojo ga Sore mo Ai to Yobunara" beside…
Because the happy-ending of Sannin Fufu is based on them postponing any discussion about sensitive topics (kids-parents relation, including legal aspects; jealousy bcs "unfair" couple relations, including sex&romance; potential career threats bcs their relation would not be accepted in their companies).
I think you could have enhanced spectator experience if you would see "Kanojo ga Sore mo Ai to Yobunara" beside "Sannin Fufu"; the former (KGSMATY) could be a possible scenario what would happen after a while with throuple of the later.
Looking at most comments here, it seems actors make a good job: we are immersed in the story. From my POV, while…
Now after finishing eps.10... My bad: I thought the story will get a realistic turn with FL and SML giving in to societal norms expectations. Although FL and SML were attracted to each other from first sight, they were close in age, still they were not sharing same expectation / view of life (see their different preferences when they were looking for a new place to live together). Good thing (also for me as a spectator): FL got together with ML, choosing the comfort of a known person (almost family type) and loving man instead of the challenging new life with SML, an ambitious/perfection-driven and egocentric man. Kudos to FL actress, Rin Takanashi, and both ML & SML for immersing us in the story, so that by the end of 9th eps I would still believe in a different ending.
I assume you are joking about it inventing it right lol, there's way older very famous slice of life Jdrama, otherwsie…
I can only warmly recommend you all 3 seasons + movie; I found myself enjoying each episode like sipping a good drink with a beautiful landscape in front of me. Enjoy! P.S. Though, good versions with EN subs are not always available; that's my sorrow, but actors offset most of that with their performance

Technically, I wonder whether that vase hit/killed Saeko... My understanding was similar, just that Arisa burst also because that would have been 2nd time Saeko took somebody precious away from her. Another main symbol of the drama: life goes in circles and one need to improve her/himself so that you won't get in the same predicament. While Arisa burst could indicate she wants to go out of this circle, I wonder what will happen with Saeko, pregnant and cheated again. Will Saeko let Shotaru in her life? Or, injured by vase, she will lose again the baby and return to her bad times?
