The only similarity I could find between this and lltg was the focus on family. At it's core I found lltg to be a family drama - tho that's mainly for the 1st half -
For story of minglan though it's quite literally the journey of minglan over the years, her experiences and so forth. There's some action but it's mainly on the ml as he's a general.
It's mainly minglan maneuvering through in her family home, and once again maneuvering in her husband's house. Lots of scheming and mind games. The fl in lltg was pretty scheming and eye for an eye type of girl. If you enjoyed her schemes in lltg, you'll likely enjoy Minglan as well as she takes it steps further.

Yeah. He already has 2 kids from another woman. It was pretty common back then and it didn't have much of an effect on he and Minglan's relationship.

If you can take the type of comedy shown in the show then yeah. You'll just have to check it out and see

This was quite the royal disappointment. Such a pacing would have made sense if the show was 16 episodes or more.

I get that. It's bearable though. The less than 10 minute ones are more painful

- My beautiful man as well. It's not as apparent in here, but there is a power dynamic between the leads.

- Bound by sin [Not bl but the leads have a bit of an power exchange going on. ]

I'm at ep 8 and so far so good. The acting is good enough snd the plot is engaging enough. I could actually see this being fleshed out to 30 to 40 mins per episode. I'd say to definitely give it a try.
