That's exactly why I said that he knows that he is also responsible for the hell that Pio is living in. He and grandfather know that the interpretation could never be his own but they know that they were the ones who pushed for this outcome.
The moment where Pio confronts his teacher( definetely his dad) about him hating Pio as a student was so gut wrenching for me. I could see the teacher see through Pio's struggles and he knows he played a big part in ruining him further. He knows that Pio is standing in the edge of doom, I know he knows. I kinda want him and grandfather to step up and help the two of them heal. It's maybe the best outcome as now they can let go of rivalry and give atleast one legendary perform with Pio playing the piano and Luca being his conductor.
The mom is the villain who ruined Pio's life. I hate that grandfather didn't acknowledge his hardwork at all, it's even worse because his dad cares for him as a student but not as a pianist, they only sees Luca as a true pianist. I can't imagine a truly happy ending here, pretty sure Jae In will leave Pio for Luca and I know Luca remembers Pio but he's waiting to gather evidence. I know Pio knows his mom was behind the kidnapping and he knows he used the interpretation of Jeong Yo to win the competition so he is pushing himself to prove he deserves his place, so Pio never really fulfilled his dream of playing music for happiness. I think his mom sabotaged her step mom after which her relation with the sunbae deteriorated too 5 years back but she'll bounce back and reveal her crimes to the world and she'll be out of the seat of the culture commitee. I think grandfather knows his daughters nature and that's why he hates Pio as he sees her flaws in him. Pio is in such a bad situation as he'll inevitably be blamed for his mother's actions. I hope he can step back, teach kids and play music finally for happiness. Luca can never play as he injured his arm due to the shooting but I think he'll become a maestro at conducting and become a pupil of the grandfather. I want Pio and Luca to be happy, the mom to pay price of her crimes, Pio needs to know that he deserved the win that day not because he stole his friends spotlight but because he gave his best. I think Jeong Yo gave his music sheet to Pio despite remembering the words of the teachers because he knows that he interpretated the song due to his friendship with Pio so he was truly the genius one who can bring out emotions in people and that deserves credit too.
I hate that everyone here, the teacher, school director, grandpa, mom, the female friend and Pio himself think what matters most in music is innate talent and no amount of harwork can bring you to that level, i think that's bs. Maybe because it triggers my insecurity. P.S It's just the pianist in me who had to quit due to the same feelings of insecurity screaming , so dont pay much attention to it. In fact I'm still so insecure that it's been 6 years since i last touched my piano :)

To add salt to his wounds, Prof Seon doesn't deserve to be called a teacher and his own father too finds flaws in him but a gem that he can turn into diamond in Jeong Yo. I feel for Jeong Yo but I'll always empathize with Pio more. I hope JY survived the shot and gets back so that Pio who I think will get the validation after winning but then quit piano due to his guilt find his way back to music and healing and they play four hands together. Also an ex piano student myself, i freaking love the music of the show.
I see people hating on Pio's mom but i can't help but see the gradnfather as the main villain. I think je has ruined his daughter and her bf like that too. Bio's dad is definitely the teacher. I cry for Bio every single episode. I want him to win the competition faur and square and get to do the one thing he was forced into but fell in love with ie playing piano in his otherwise hellish life. Bio is such a kind kid who's being pushed to the deep end by his own family and teachers. I want the School director (yes i hate her with passion too but I've run out of options) to come through and help them both, i hate her too atp but i want some adult to be their for Bio. We will finally see the reason of the pinky next week, i think he intentionally injured it to cope with his deteriorating mental health. In the competition shown in the first ep first scene, his artistry will finally make the grandpa see the potential in him and the emotions that he keeps pressing about that Bio literally lost due to the grandpa and his daughter itself, but he'll see the emotion in his play as he is not playing to win anymore but to save his friend, this is when hello acknowledge him as even better than himself. But he will choose to walk away just like his father must have done years ago but he'll be accompanied by Jeong Yo who survives the kidnapping and chooses to play as a duo and play for their love of music

I always connected him with his promise to always protect her as the ghost always by her side especially because in all those moments it was always something related to water/steam etc. I definitely agree that his story should've been fleshed out atleast in the final meeting scene with yeori
Called it in the very 2nd episode that he was the villian and in the 4th epthat he killed his brother and that's why he was the ghost their to save her from her marriage as well.

I saw that scene and legit quit watching mid way so I was up to date till ep 4 than 5 came around and I was like at least show coma guys and I quite watching 5 midway, now I'm getting back to it cuz I still love Eun Bin more than I hate illogical plot lines 😭🤣
Starting ep 5 right now and I feel like Min Hwan k*led the friend who drowned with Yeo Ri since he has the necklace that potentially saved her life and gave her these powers. Min Hwan is from the family of his ex and I think the design*d guy also like Yeo Ri so he haunted her ex to break off the engagement. I think when she gets to know the truth and bring justice to her friend she'll stop seeing them if she wants too but she'll choose to see them anyways as she knows she has helped solve plenty cases that wouldn't have been solved without her bringing justice to the unfair demise of people
