A bond is a bond, whether forged in the innocence of youth or the wisdom of age.

I can't believe there aren't any reviews for this awesome movie! Even though I'm not the best at putting my thoughts into words, I'll give it a shot and try to convince you why this was such a fun watch.

Imagine a gangster asking a 9th grader for singing lessons because his boss has this weird birthday tradition of hosting a singing competition, and coming last is a big no-no. Sounds crazy, right? But these two actors made it look like the most normal thing ever. You'd almost believe it could happen at your school!

This drama is about a sugary-sweet yakuza and a cold-hearted teenager who's the poster child for teenage angst and icy glares.
It's a quirky reminder that friendship can blossom in the most unexpected and peculiar ways possible. The story takes time to warm up, but as you notice changes in their expressions, you realise that, oh, they are totally into the BFF game now.

What's fascinating is that our teenage protagonist isn't your typical rebel; he's surprisingly cool-headed. On the flip side, there's another teen in full tantrum mode, plus a mature girl their age always trying to cool things down, showcasing the many shades of adolescence.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. There are so many fun moments, some literal god-level smart writing, and, of course, a totally heartwarming climax. I know my review is kind of wrapping up now when I hardly wrote anything but anything more than this can be a spoiler, and I don't want to steal your joy away.

Just to make this review a worthy read, I am going to tell you the most important thing about this movie, which is the post-credit scene. Please don't miss it, and look closely at the tatto on our sweetheart yakuza and smile like I did.
Now go and watch this gem right now, and please return and write a better review than me to attract more viewers, I believe in you hahaha.

Made me cry !

I see a lot of YouTube videos on people giving out goods to poor people and shooting their reactions as if it's some kinda amusement. Even tho in a way they are being useful for vulnerable population amassing views at the same time, it's not a long-term solution or in fact disrespectful but, understandably, no one can take responsibility of others for lives.
Unlike other School-based dramas where a new teacher comes and renovates the whole aura by helping students personally, this drama is more about understanding what are their full potential plus their restraints as teachers to help kids who don't have anyone to rely on.
I loved how real they kept the stories and not sugarcoated any of the conversations.
Special dramas mostly fail to convey their message but this one proves otherwise.
Not only the Male lead but all the other teachers were equally incredible. I was pleasantly surprised by Michieda Shunsuke, he's one of the rising stars for sure.

It deserves a try if you love Hirano Sho because I am all ears for his divine voice.

So Good

Keeping in mind that I wouldn't be able to express the Charm of this drama, I will still try to give you a glimpse of this heartwarming tale.
Is your life a story? We often try to reach a certain goal but is that the end? This drama says *No*. Our day-to-day choices however illustrate what our next day gonna be like!
This story doesn't have a start or an end, it just takes you to the lives of Gentaro-san and his three daughters.
Every daughter is different but alike, they have their family peculiarities showing all over their essence but their life options are super diverse.

The eldest daughter "Yuka" is successful at her work but constantly analyzes every small thing. She's quick to change and ain't your big reliable sis but will listen to you without complaining. She needs a pinch of imperfection or else it's boring for her.

Second daughter "Rika" is your cool gal who maturely handles her problems and doesn't fuss over small things. She was the favorite character after the mother tbh.

The Youngest daughter "Mika" is in her experimenting phase and learning new things while being in mild disagreement with her father.

Father Gentaro is the sweetest bean you will ever find, he isn't too strict or interfering and cares about his family above all. He has his way of Judging people and becoming a little serious about small details when it comes to his daughters. He genuinely gives them the freedom which allows all daughters to return to a place whenever feeling down, I felt related to this drama on a personal level but the father aspect was a little sweeter hahaha! I guess my father is just on the stricter side but I can feel his worry about me all the time.

If you love a slice of life drama with some side love stories, give it a try! You won't regret it. Also, last but not the least, the mother was Awesome.

I haven't watched the parent story so my review is solely based on this drama.

Honma Kai is blessed with genius mind and Ichinose Jiro with compassionate heart. When it comes to physical strength, They aren't some Kind of super heroes who will beat every single villain out there but they got skills man! I have read the synopsis of original k-movie, It was based on a single kidnapping case but as this version was extended into a drama, Many thrilling stories are introduced with each episode. Episode 4 gave special attention to Honma Kai, and followed by it, Ep 5 features an emotional yet funny character introduction of Jiro-chan. This will not follow your basic trope of hate to love kinda friendship as they pretty much clicked with each other in ep 1 itself but you will gradually see their chemistry getting better.
Apart from their journey as police trainees, The plot holds a thrilling twist in final three episodes. You have to patiently wait for it because writer did a great job in confusing viewers. We can say that the start was weak but It gets better and ultimately become one of the best cop drama.
Also there's something You can't resist, Hirano's voice !!! So what you waiting for, try it ASAP.

Girls why waiting for prince when you can be one yourself?

This drama tells a very complicated story briskly in eight small episodes. Although it focuses on a toxic friendship, it also apprise a cute love story of a playboy and a tomboy. If not a fancy romance, I can still promise you many warm back hugs.
When you watch it, the flaws shine brighter than the unique storyline, but I think if you pick a short drama then it's mandatory that you won't get any background details in depth or full length development of the characters. Right? Because I saw many comments regarding the rushed ending and I agree with them, but I also can't think of anything better in just 20 minutes.
So this story deals with mental health without a Physcatrist till the end. If you are sensitive to issues like suicide/ unhealthy obsession, then skip it.
But if you want to take break from your daily lovey dovey/ academic high school drama then it's definitely a good choice.

Ps: I completed it in one sitting :) happy drama watching ❤

This show focusses on Akira who doesn't have any reason/will/skill to be a detective but she's still going with the flow. Usually we get quick-witted leads in detective drama but contrary to that here we have a mysterious lady who doesn't show any kind of emotions and seems like a normal person on street. She have a troubled past but she's past the age to cry over that.
This is an incomplete drama since many questions were left unanswered but what I understood was that it's basically a series telling us the daily life stories of a detective whose cases always turn into something disastrous.
It's quirky and fun, I think every mystery lover should give it a try since it excels in the aesthetic setting of dark criminal world. Last three episodes are titled " Worst 10 days of akira's life" And trust me I didn't expected the finale to be so thrilling.

Are they making season 2 ? Why? There is no need...!
This mini series is watchable because its mini lol
*Things i liked about it... :)
- well it was short! That's it ...!
* things i didn't liked about it... :(
- the lead girl....ughhhhh!! Why was she so expressionless in a romantic drama...! 3 men were hitting on her and she always seemed clueless and naive. Like idk what's happening...i am so good to know anything...blah blah~~
- NO CHEMISTRY!!! i liked the second lead with her more...!
- i thought they will tell us some serious issues which every high schooler face...they tried it!! Yes they did...but nooo...! It was a failure.
- very predictable story with good actors given support roles...!

@Honourable mentions which made this drama cute -
Joo hyun young (her bestie)
Kim so yeon ( the bitch who turned fairy)
Lee hyeong seok ( very very small role but he was hot man)

"Go, go, Power Rangers
You, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers..."

Ever since I was a kid, I liked super heroes, local or international, I watched every show, but my father always bought me Barbie stickers for school note-books lol ! Well i didn't complained much since I hate Note-books of all so why bother if they have some tacky name plates on them!

This show is so precious, it deserve all the doting one can offer! It's an uncooked story in my opinion, although it does concludes the major parts, but I think it's more like a peek in daily lives of people who have quirky interests but general opinions scare them enough to cause nightmares. Our female lead is so vivid and dazzling in spite of always living in a fear of exposing herself as otaku. She made tons of friends in these super fun seven episodes ranging from an elementary level kid to an old retired lady. But there's no romance for you, just some cute guys thinking that our fl is awesome.

**Side- effects of watching this show**
1) Craving for more episodes and cursing writer to end it just in 7 episodes.
2) Unconsciously dancing when the theme song tune in.
3)Getting lost in nostalgia and rewatching Powe-rangers/Kamen rider.

PS- You can watch another drama from same female lead with same vibes "youkai sharehouse" , happy drama watching :)

Why the hell i watched this stupid movie!
Aaahhhh!
It was cute at start! But then it was showing the useless obsession of female lead over n over! The male lead idk was fool / oversmart / insane!
First of all he made a girlfriend! Then fl felt insecure coz she was by his side from childhood! So she confessed ! He kissed her but then rejected coz he can't leave her gf alone!
She made a bf on same night of rejection and now ml starts regretting and realising his love for fl!
There's a unwanted lost mother plot too !
I mean give me a break! They need to be in a relationship to realize their love for someone else!
I saw todome no kiss recently, so wanted to see more work of kento yamakazi! (Coz i avoided him for so long) BUT MY THIS CHOICE WAS WORST!!

Okay so this ain't supernatural if you are going in for that!

And this ain't romantic if you are going in for leads.

This is a messed up psychological thriller with the most amazing twist.

Also I noticed the tag lesbian, I don't think this drama come under the LGBTQ+ theme but yes few scenes somewhat support the tag. But still I can't approve of it as gl since there was just some physical contact in sudden moment without any emotional investment.

I truly admire the performance of female lead! As mentioned in synopsis, the soul get swapped and now male lead is in the female body, she did a spectacular job to made us believe that there's a boy in her body.

Overall I recommend this drama if you're looking for short with happy ending.

I am writing this coz this movie was unique and caught my attention. The plot summary given about it don't match the story at all. It's very different and somewhat weird.
1. Things I liked about it :-
The story itself was very well written. It's about the complexity of emotions. How sometimes hate rule over love, when you are not able to be clear about your feelings, when you misunderstand something else as love. If you see the movie considering yourself at her place you will know the reason of every single scene in it. I loved it's ending. It was written beautifully.
2. Things I disliked about it :-
The director wanted it to make special or different idk what? But messed it up. It gave a headache how he displayed some scenes. Pretty much everything was left on audience to create an opinion about . So it confused me sometimes. Characters were some time acting with overdose of emotions so it was kinda hard to interpret thier state of mind.
Overall I will recommend it to people who don't get offended easily.

Let me start this review by correcting the term "strict" From the synopsis to "abusive" . Yes that grandma is some real psychopath.
This drama tells the story about a girl with split personality disorder. The switch between the scared obedient girl to scary objectionable girl was the most intriguing part. You can watch this drama for that because it's quite convincing. Since romance isn't the main plot, there isn't much of a love story but two fairly likable male leads with important parts to play in fl's story. Yumi want revenge and hiromi want to hide from reality. The clash was very interesting. I would have rated it higher if the ending was not this abrupt. Some questions were left unanswered.
Anyways its short and fun. Give it a try. Happy drama watching:)
