I agree with you! This situation is primed for high-stakes legal battles and ruthless maneuvering. CS’s wife…
Lunkera, the ex told Beomsoo just before her marriage that she had told her husband-to-be that she would like to raise Hani and she said he said ok. Beomsoo's custody battle with his ex will be so exciting.
I hope the Writer has the same thoughts as myself regarding the ex's husband objection to her custody battle.
The story in your country is so heartbreaking. Some people should never become parents. 😥

Thank you Zango!
Beomsoo does not have the wealth or powerful connections. He may very well lose custody of Hani.
That's why I came up with a scenario that the ex's husband strongly opposes her custody trial with Beomsoo because of bad publicity to his business and family. So... she has to give up fighting for Hani. Her new husband is in his 70s btw so I hope he will not be keen in having an infant crying in his house.😁

I was not sure if you mind that I mentioned your username. That's why I did not. Actually, do you mind?
You made a very good point that Beomsoo and Seri register their marriage so that Hani has a stable family setting.
Beomsoo does not have his own house but I hope the judge takes into account that he is holding a respectable teaching position in the university. He also has family support. And Beomsoo actually can use the photos, of Seri hugging and caring for Hani, to prove that Seri will be a good mother to Hani.
Abandonment of an infant less than 6 months will make anyone sick to the core. Hope this fact will carry very heavy weight for Beomsoo.
If every dad or mum abandoned his or her infant, divorced the husband or wife and then changed the mind, it will be very disruptive to the infant or toddler. Because there has been no contact with this parent for an extended period of time, the infant will cry and refuse to eat and sleep. The physical and mental health of the child is of paramount importance. I wish I were the Judge. 😆🤣😂
It just crossed my mind that another good scenario will be the ex's husband to object to the custody battle as it is bad publicity for his business and family. So the ex has to give up fighting for Hani. 😄
I think this scenario will be far better than to use Dongseok's legal team for assistance because Beomsoo will not be indebed to Dongseok in this way. Yes, it might be the Writer's intention to make Beomsoo in debt to Dongseok so anything goes.
Lunkera, just a side note, my neighbour's daughter-in-law abandoned their grandson, 6 months after he was born. I heard it from another neighbour so I don't have all the details. The son and grandparents raised him and he is a teenager now with a 3 year old half sister. (His dad remarried) He never has any contact with his biological mum who has also remarried.
Such abandonment of an infant does happen in real life and it is so sad.
It the norm i weekenders. Also it does make sense for her to come back. Since they need to have a court hearing…
That hateful ex discovered Misun!
Chunsoo incredibly left his ex standing in his bedroom after scolding her. Worse... he left his desk drawer open where he kept his wedding ring for Misun. There were some romantic message too. That's why the ex followed Chunsoo and discovered Misun is Chunsoo's love interest.

A commenter suggested rightly that Beomsoo and Seri register their marriage quickly so that Hani has both dad and mum in a familysetting. Beomsoo has no home of his own which is a big disadvantage in his legal battle for Hani.
But his ex abandoned Hani and Beomsoo, less than 6 months, after she was born. So this fact is his ex's weakest point. She might get once a month or better still, once in 3 months visitation rights. Better yet... no visitation rights at all. 😄
The character profile from before drama aired said that they would get into a war.
I wrote in an earlier comment that I have absolutely no sympathy for Miae.
Agree with you that saving Kangsoo will be her only redemption. And, of course, Tak must spend time in jail for his attempt to harm Kangsoo. This is purely my and your speculation. Tak has not harmed Kangsoo as of now, but he has threatened that he will.

I am not sure about the divorce laws of SKorea.
I thought, maybe, Tak will divorce Miae but fight in the courts not to give her alimony because she had a son without telling him before their marriage.
I don't know.
But I do know that this drama will be exciting because Tak will scheme to hurt Kangsoo. Not that I want Kangsoo to be hurt but it will be nerve-wracking to watch what will happen to Kangsoo.
All five couples will marry on the same day - sounds great to me. Except I hope Kangsoo and Bom will never be a couple. She doesn't deserve him. She is so snobbish that she will stay away from him when she finds out that he is a foundling.
Don't you think the actress who plays Seri and the actor who plays Kangsoo are very good-looking?
Kangsoo is so lovable and I just want to hug and comfort him when he discovered he was a foundling. 🥲

Bom has been respectful and obedient to her dad. I am certain she will attend the dinner but she may show her uneasiness and hostility to Kwangsook and that will irritate Dongseok who will counsel her. Unfortunately, that will push up Bom's walls of insecurity even higher than now. This is my own speculation.
What I'm keen to watch is how Bom will realise the good nature of Kwangsook eventually.

"Yes, Miae will be all proud and puffy, thinking that her son could be married to Bom. (is that what you meant above?)" Yes, I meant Miae will be more snobbish than she already is. She can divorce without money worries. Remember how sickening Miae was as she encouraged Bom to date Kangsoo. 😕
Kwangsook's facial expressions were rude because of her fight with Dongseok.
Actually their fight and makeup were a waste of precious time. Kwangsook is normally not aggressive and they could have discussed this issue without shouting and being defensive. Waste of time.
Yes. @Lunkera posted a comment much earlier that 4 episodes will be added.

Bom will be a pain in the neck for Kwangsook. But this is a heartwarming family drama, not revenge drama, so I expect Bom to see the light and correct her prejudice against "people like Kwangsook". (Bom's words). I believe that it will be a happy Han family in the end.
As I was telling @Lovemovies, I wish Kangsoo will not be romantically linked with Bom. Kangsoo is really too good for Bom. 😉

Her chilli-red lipstick and gaudy outfits made her look like a clown. Who wears such loud colours and prints in this day and age! 😆🤣😂
I think Tak might be the one to divorce her instead. He is also losing his marbles regarding Kangsoo. He might end up in prison for harassing and harming Kangsoo.
😃👍💻
She will lose the battle, and her angry husband will divorce her.
May I ask if you are or were a journalist or author?
That was very well-described of Beomsoo's ex. But it is too late for her to make a U-turn now.
