Many episodes ago, I was puzzled that Gwansik lied to Grandpa that he could not find the cafe owners. This scene was played back in this episode.
Now I think that Gwansik lied to Grandpa on Daechi's orders. I don't understand why Daechi could be so smug and frequently taunted Gwansik when Daechi was the real killer of Gyeol's father. Shouldn't Gwansik be the taunting one?

In my humble opinion, Seongjun should not be blamed. When he reached the accident scene, Daechi and Gwansik were not even trying to save Gyeol. No one was calling the police too.

Seongjun jumped into action and gingerly opened the car door and carried Gyeol out in the nick of time.
In the last few seconds of this episode, Gwansik knelt to Gyeol. But he might not mention Daechi was actually the driver or that Seongjun was the one who saved him.

Gwansik is such a moron! 😠

If Gwansik never say that Seongjun risked his own life to save Gyeol, then no one will ever know he was really a hero. So Gyeol needs to know. Only then can he and Eunae marry.

I forgot about Seongjun. The law would punish him because he abetted to murder of Gyeol's father.

I thought and Yeongja also thought that Jiseon has chosen not to divorce and return to Eunhyeong and Bit Na.

acowen, I also have this awful thought as you. But I dare not mention it because I would be more heartbroken than Eunae.
I feel strongly that Eunae has helped Gyeol a great deal in his trauma healing journey and also in uncovering the truth about his father's death.
Without his pillar of strength, Gyeol would crumble into an emotional wreck like previously.

This type of family genre coupled with mystery is my favourite. Makjang dramas are too negative and frustrating for me.
