That flashback scene of little SJ and little NY hugging each other, made me ponder that if YJ did not sow seeds of jealousy and resentment against SJ in the mind of NY since she was little, NY could have turned out to be a happy and kind person.
So is everything alright and good for NY? My guess is there will be a 180Β° change in her character. No evil schemes, no jealousy, no bitterness - NY has transformed! π―π²π
This has been the trend of how villains will end up in recent years' dramas. I am dying to know if there is a consensus amongst the writers to go easy on villains. But this is walking down a slippery dangerous path as youngsters will have the misconception that all wrongdoings and crime can be wiped clean with wailing and saying they are sorry.
HS will meet a woman who truly loves him and both will raise little Yang Won. π
The pretty little girl hiding behind the nun will likely be adopted by WR & SJ.
The unnatural and reluctant confession of love from SY and she seemed hesitant to step forward and hug WC - he had to pull her towards him....made me laugh so hard. These two have ZERO chemistry since Day One. π€£ππ€£
I think the writers gave it to her to give her a soft landing. I guess in their eyes divorce and losing her child…
I thought she faked it to get sympathy from HS & MR. Because the first time she carried the baby, she was smiling and telling the baby that she is the mum. Shortly after, her behaviour changed to indifference.
Sadly, I have an uneasy feeling that NY will get a redemption arc. The reason the Writer makes NY gets postpartum…
My eyes π³ when I read your comment. Ah! Your comment makes me recall the preview that HS was discussing about NY's depression with WR & SJ and then MR steps in and asks who they are talking about. Maybe....
This woman might as well never ever returned as Ara has already forgotten her face. I mean what is her motive…
Yes, we were not shown she kept Ara's money but neither were we shown she returned Ara her money. She only left letters for SY and Ara. Despicable mum!

SY has the letter as proof that Ara has been abandoned by her biological mum. Actually the police should be able to trace her whereabouts if SY provided her full name. I mean she must have it when she rented the room to her.

"A Ra is too good for her." You said it RIGHT.
I was thinking by the time Ara is 20 years old, SY & WC will be almost 70! I'm sure SJ, WR, DR & DY will have to take care of her university expenses etc.

I agree after re-watching it. I have just posted a reply to the latest commenter Charliesann. Sigh! I was hoping NY will end up in jail for some crime.
I really hope they arenβt trying to give NY a last minute redemption arc with this whole post partum thing,…
Sadly, I have an uneasy feeling that NY will get a redemption arc. The reason the Writer makes NY gets postpartum depression is to draw sympathy from us, viewers, for her.
My guess is NY attempts suicide but is saved. This is to draw sympathy from us again.
But it is too far-fetched to even imagine NY being forgiven by MR and HS and moved back home. She will likely live a simple pathetic life on her own and will lose complete custody of her baby. She will be shown watching her son from a distance.
Who cried watching Ara being abandoned by her biological mom, again? I cried. The child actress portraying Ara…
"I've been a fan of her since The Love In Your Eyes." Me too. She won an award in that drama.
Her acting was very emotional and made cried buckets of tears in kdrama LOVE TWIST. She outshined the ML in that emotionally charged scene.
Coming back to this drama - Ara made me cry in that scene where SY asked her if she was alright. She said she was really fine because she was happy if her mum was happy too.
Even specialists of other disciplines should not treat their families and friends.

TereStarr also told me that NY wasn't faking it.
I guess I was too harsh on a new mum. π€
I read of an article here that the format is changed for this drama.
So if you calculate, 36 rpisodes of 1 hr 25 minutes is = 51 episodes of 1 hour.
I'll message if I can find that article.

Let's see how it goes.π€π€π
I am using MDL website. No issues so far.

Just my own thoughts....

Totally Shameless to accept your 7 year old's savings when she is planning to abandon her
daughter. She did not even buy Ara a present.
