I expected a Happy Ending and I am glad that the Writer did it and also gave us an almost two-hour last episode.
Personally, I found the scene of elderly Hyun Woo so heart-wrenching as I imagined his pain and loneliness after Hae In's death. Yes, all of us will die one day, hence, it will always be hard on the surviving spouse. Nevertheless, it was good to know Hyun Woo and Hae In lived a long life together.
I've enjoyed every minute of Queen of Tears and I thank the cast, crew, producer, director and writer for their hard work. 👏👏👏

It is also very common for the parents of a non-haebol family to insist on preserving their blood lines. And the Hongs are a chaebol family but Hong Dad and Mum accepted Da Hye and her son so readily? Totally unrealistic. I can't get past this.

Whenever Hyun Woo cried, I cried too. Hyun Woo's eyes brimmed with tears when he set his eyes on Hae In during her prison visit...so did mine very quickly. Kim Soo Hyun is fantastic in acting with his eyes only - he does not need even a single word. 😍 That's why I'm rooting for him to win Baeksang Arts Award Grand Prize. ✊️
