We are on the same page. Conflicts, twists and turns are what dramas are made of. Otherwise, how does the Writer continue to write the story if everything is going well and dandy. All writers want us viewers to become addicted to their dramas and jack up the ratings as well.

I think if the ratings are going south, the Writers will be in trouble.

I noticed that whenever Kim Soo Hyun cried, I would cry without fail because I could really feel Hyun Woo's despair and sadness. He must win Baeksaeng Best Actor for TV. 🥰

In the preview after ep 14, Hae In said she had a somewhat lovey feeling when she sees Eun Seong but I want to think that good will prevail over evil. Her feelings for Eun Seong are nothing but a floating feather which will be blown away by Hyun Woo. 🪶

I re-watched episode 14 and I am positive of a Happy Ending. ✊️😁
Writer just enjoys making us viewers sit at the edge of our chairs so as to jack up the ratings. 🤨

Tbh, after ep 13, I was still confident of a happy ending because, like you, I know the baddies will and must be punished but I was crushed after episode 14.

Maybe, I am just physically and mentally tired now so my spirits are pretty down.

The Hongs should remove Grace from their lives totally after she switched camps.
Why was Hae In's mother still talking to Grace at all? Worse still, she told Grace about Hae In going to Germany for surgery.

Because Grace passed this info to Seul Hee, that's how Eun Seong got himself appointed as Hae In's guardian which was really a plot hole.

Before episode 13, I was confident we will get a happy ending. Now I don't know...the story can go any direction. Tbh, I am tired.

Mo Seul Hee aka Witch is a piece of work. Whenever she apppears (from Day One), I just want to give her 2 tight slaps.
She's psychotic...delusional and should be locked up in a mental institution because she has no qualms killing people who have hurt her son.
Some commenters speculated she might have caused Grandma's death, Hae In's miscarriage and Hae In's brother's death. Everything and Anything is possible as she has already admitted to the murders of Eun Seong's adoptive parents and the orphanage director.

I also misunderstood when I first read the article which was posted by a MDL commenter. After reading it again, it dawned on me that it was poorly translated as "disappointed with the ending".
Imo, it should be "QOT fans will be sad that the drama has ended."
More words were needed to avoid misunderstanding. 😄
