TE, length of time is not issue here but what Stella did i.e. abandonment of her baby son is the issue. Seri, being an adult, is also not the issue. Because Stella's base character is the issue. She's ruthless to use toxic tonics to slowly do her multiple husbands in. She abandoned her baby son. She will teach Seri ruthlessness and other negative traits. They dislike each other from Day One too. A leopard does not change its spots overnight.
