But Chairman needs to ask himself the reason his eldest daughter, the CEO, has been  abrasive and aggressive to him recently.  From Day One, he did nothing to mediate between these two women.  If he did, the situation might, very well, be different.

Writer needs to give us a bit more background story of the true identity of Seri.

While food allergy is uncommon, two unrelated individuals could have the same food allergy.

Miscast if Seri were Lucia's daughter because Seri is petite while Lucia is almost as tall as Seonjae. Surely the producer could have found a taller actress for Seri or it could be deliberate that Seri is petite because she is not Lucia's biological daughter.

Miso was born prematurely and was so ill from the poison from Seonjae that she almost died.
Seri seemed to have stopped breathing shortly after birth.
Both Seri and Miso babies were very unwell.

Manager Gong sent Gyeongchae’s newborn to the hospital as she was ill.

I think it was more likely that there was a baby mix-up at the hospital. But it could also be sheer coincidence that both Lucia and Seri have seafood allergy.

Writer, please give us more info.....

It is good to know that the board has yet to give approval that Lucia is the CEO because Lucia lacks the experience of running a huge distribution company. She needs a lot of support from Taegyeong. It is a mistake to place her as CEO.

Jihyeok's father is the type who believes that he is always right and even his adult children can never be right.  His word must be obeyed.  He lacks humility and graciousness, otherwise he would have called out to Jihyeok when he saw him.

I mean his pride has no limits.  After his wife said that Jihyeok set up his own company, Jihyeok's father said he managed to do that in just a few months, so he was full of himself. 
Common!  Why was Jihyeok's father unhappy that Jihyeok bounced back very quickly after the money marriage fell through? 
He should say that he was very glad and happy that Jihyeok has bounced back so swiftly. 

At the end of this drama, I expect there will be tears of healing and joy for many characters.

joetoca, we are on the same page regarding Seongjae.

Because he planned to pursue Eunoh when Jihyeok was absent and in a pathetic situation, he had no qualms dumping Jihyeok.  Seongjae bought him a meal, told him to return home and left him outside the restaurant.  He could have spent some time asking him what his plans were, asked to see his living space and asked if he has enough money or not.  He just drove off... that scene made see Seongjae in a different light. 

He strikes while the iron is hot. 
He is not a true friend.
When his longtime friend has fallen flat on his face, he offered no consolation, no emotional or financial support (he slipped 1 million won in Jihyeok's jacket pocket).

When he learnt that Jihyeok was living and working in the storeroom of the cafe, his immediate response was why Jihyeok returned.  What? 
I noticed no commenter mentioned this response of Seongjae.  His response speaks volumes of himself.  His love competitor is back. 
That could be the reason Jihyeok rejected his offer of investment. 

At this juncture, the Writer has given us only little information about his teenage life where he was bullied and Jihyeok came to his rescue and his cold and bitter relationship with his father.  As for his stepmother Seonghui, I am still clueless as, right now, the Writer seems to be holding back some critical information.

We are all "destined for disappointment".! 😄

acowen, I edited my comment more than six hours ago about Jihyeok's father from "reach out" to "call out".

I meant Jihyeok's father saw Jihyeok first, but he chose to continue harbouring anger against his own son and hid, instead of calling Jihyeok to get his attention as Jihyeok was looking at his phone.   I didn't mean Jihyeok's father making a phone call to Jihyeok.
It is a matter of who saw who first.  If Jihyeok saw his father and hid himself, I would have make a similar comment too. 
This kind of father is full of pride and authority-a very difficult and harsh father to live with.  No one could go against his word.  Even his friend who run a restaurant said that as Jihyeok is an adult now, he should give him freedom to do as he pleases with his life. 

As for Jihyeok offering the $20,000 business deal for Eunoh, I would consider it to be a rescue simply because Jihyeok's intention was to help Eunoh with her finances.  Because he knew that Eunoh has paid Gangoh's $24,000 debt.
Her bank account would be less $24,000.   She accepted because she knew the $20,000 would come in handy. 

Later Eunoh started getting more projects, she could afford to accept part of his payment. 

The reason she told Sujeong for not accepting the full $20,000 payment was that she knew Jihyeok needed money for his business.   The other reason was she said that accepting the $20,000 would make her pay Gangoh.  Yes, it is a stupid reason but that was the Writer's reason. 😄

Subin was an unnecessary role because without this role, the storyline can still move forward smoothly. 
Whoa!  Her last scene with Seongjae made me so impatient.  She was dressed like a child going to kindergarten class.  Annoying and totally unnecessary!

This Writer likes repeating storylines like Jihyeok comes to Eunoh's rescue AGAIN when he offers to be partners with her.  Earlier, he offered her a $20,000 project.

What got me riled up is Eunoh decides to partner him but with 3 conditions which must be notarized!  All business with partners must have a contract but it is always pertaining to the business. But it sounds like Eunoh's conditions are personal and she wants them notarized? Business partners need to have basic trust in each other, to begin with.  Otherwise, reject the partnership.

Subin's storyline is also repetitive.  She keeps pestering Seongjae with that childish expression and he keeps turning her away. 

Jihyeok's father is awfully prideful and cold-hearted.  He kicked Jihyeok out when he was jobless and the money marriage fell through.  Because he seems to be doing well now and smiling as he walks, he refuses to be the first one to call out to him.

Deb, do you remember Gyeongchae scolded her father when he recovering from brain surgery in hospital, that he forced her to choose her partner (David) or  Mingang Distribution?  Then she stormed out. 
Then Chairman said with a hint of sadness that she still did not know that he has died.  There was no smirk on his face or sarcasm in his words but a hint of subtle sadness.  And then that scene was over. 

That was what made myself doubt my own words that Chairman must have hired killers on Gyeongchae's partner. 

Having said that, Seonjae said in a recent episode to Gyeongchae that a homeless man was arrested for the car accident.  And Gyeongchae said that this method of covering a crime is typical of her father.

So I am confused if Chairman really hired killers on David or not.  

You see, I like shocking plot twists. 😁😵 
Add to it that the Writer is not giving us, viewers, a definitive answer.

She is not a replica of her father yet.
Because she is not a murderer.... yet.   But she might become one in the near future.

Gyeongchae’s main reason now for taking revenge on her father is she believed he hired killers on her partner, David.  

But do you notice that we are not shown explicitly that Chairman did send killers on David?  I have a naggy feeling that the truth of how David died could be heartbreaking because the Writer should have shown us how he really died by now.
What is your take?

The key description of that nursing home are above.  It is horrifying and worse than a prison because one lives there until death comes which was what happened to Sujeong's mother.

They know he is a ruthless businessman and womaniser.  Yes, he imparts wrong values in Gyeongchae and Sujeong. 
Yes, he has always been harsh with his children.  But he was concerned for his other children's well-being if Gyeongchae becomes Chairman. 
Yes, at this point, it seems that he had killers on David Jung, Gyeongchae's partner. 
Yes, he had killers on Taegyeong's parents and Pildoo and later even killed Pildoo with his bare hands.

It is wrong of Gyeongchae to do this to her father despite all his wrongdoings.  Then she becomes a replica of her father.  How good and honourable is it to take revenge on one's biological father?
Chairman will get his just deserts.
Gyeongchae will be getting hers soon.

Let retribution do its work...

Gyeongchae is the Gyeongseong Monster.
Even if Chairman was a womaniser and caused so much distress and later death to Gyeongchae's mother, how could she look for a nursing home, for her father, which does not allow visitors and once entered the home, the patient will not leave the home alive etc.  😵

One should never take revenge on one's parents.

What will Chairman do to his three older children, not forgetting his daughter-in-law? 😫🫣

YT clips in the last few minutes, Gyeongchae and Seonjae are going to send Chairman to the nursing home.  But Taegyeong and Lucia are on the way to stop them. 
So tomorrow, Chairman will be shouting and kicking Gyeongchae out of Mingang and home and Seonjae out of Mingang.... I think. 😁
