It was good. The only thing I could't get pass or why the writer did this was YiNing kept calling him "third brother"…
It’s cultural. It’s normal for her to continue calling him that because that’s what she’s used to and that is his title in the household. It’s hard to explain when you’re not from that culture.
Also, Meimei means little sister. LXJ called her little sister the whole time 😂😂😂😂
Hello! Nice to see you here! Did you rewatch LR this year?
I’m reading the prisoner of beauty now. But my favorite Chinese novel would always be greetings, ninth uncle! I hope they make that into a drama!!! I also loved the Rise of Ning and liang Chen mei jin. I’m obsessed with weibo and rednote and seeing bits and pieces of the shooting of Liang Chen Mei Jin. Besides the lovely runner couple, my other favorite CP is Ren Min and Ci Sha! Have you seen any of their shows?
Oh I’m watching Heavenly ever after right now while i wait for a new Chinese drama to come my way! I think I’m really into the historical Chinese romance drama right now.
Omg!you’re going to be suffering waiting for eps to drop like the rest of us at this rate! And exhausted. It…
Episode 24 now. And i see it says 2 episodes will comes out tomorrow (on viki). I’m working the next 3 days hopefully by Thursday, i got more than a handful of new episodes to watch. I’m gonna start reading the novel, for sure. 😂
In Korean and Chinese culture, you can still call your husband “older brother.” If you watch Korean dramas, you’ll hear girlfriends and wives call their boyfriends/husbands oppa (older brother) all the time lol. It was not out of place and writers did not screw it up. It’s just part of the culture.
