It had everything to be the best series

I'll try to be as objective as possible and English is not my native language, so sorry if there are mistakes.

The proposal of the series is really good. The themes addressed in each episode could have a greater positive impact, however, the series is short and the episodes didn't have enough running time for the plot to be better developed. As good as the cast is, good acting alone is not enough.

EPISODES BL 1, 4, and 6

Episode 1 WOULD YOU BE MY LOVE - The main couple has a lot of chemistry, that is unquestionable, but the bullyng scenes are very disturbing. In my opinion, they focused much more on the bullyng scenes, than on developing the relationship between Sun and Ozone.

Episode 4 ONCE UPON A TIME - Really the themes covered are very strong, but the story was very poorly developed. Ballon and Mek keep their relationship a secret and "apparently" talk about everything. Ballon values his family very much, and Mek is hurt that he feels left behind because he only has Ballon. A lot of things happen during the course of the episode, they even get to break up, and as much as in the end they stay together, there isn't even a dialogue between them, it doesn't show how they resolve their conflicts, so it doesn't convince me.

Episode 6 VS LOVE - In my opinion, this was the best story of all. The proposed theme was well covered, it is very straightforward, and unlike some of the previous episodes, the ending is conclusive.

For me, among the BL stories, the story in episode 6 was by far the best.

EPISODE GL 3

Episode 3 REMEMBER - Summarized in a few words "I betrayed you and lied to you, but I still love you" is about that. At the end we don't know what happens to the characters.

It started well, but in the end it was the worst episode of the series.

HETEROSEXUAL EPISODES 2, 5 and 7

Considering that most people watching this series are more BL fans, the theme proposed in these, has less impact, because it is not BL and does not address the themes related to it.

Episode 2 RHYTHM'S HEART - I didn't feel any chemistry between the main couple. There is nothing interesting.

Episode 5 BREAKUP ZONE - The story is about long-time friends who end up developing feelings for each other. In my opinion, the acting was very weak. As friends, they are very cute, But as a couple, there is no chemistry and the kissing scene would be better if there wasn't.

Episode 7 50% MY PUPPY LOVE - This is not the strongest story of them all, but it is good nonetheless. The story deals with the theme of friendship and first love. There is not much interaction between Bean and Thankao until the end of the episode, but watching it makes us relive our school days, when we started to like someone, and admire that person from afar, how we were shy to approach them... and also about the friendships we want to keep for the rest of our lives and conflicts over their misunderstandings. We can feel the tension and shyness between Beam and Tonkao and the sadness between Beam and his friend when they are fighting.
It is a cute and funny story, well worth watching.

Among the heterosexual episodes, only episode 7 is good, mainly because of the good acting, the characters are expressive and have chemistry.

Overall, it had everything to be one of the best series, because it approaches several different and very specific themes. The proposal is good, but the plot failed.
I will watch again only episodes 6 and 7.

Drama x Romance

My review is about comparing Romance to Drama. Even though the plot of the series is inferior to Romance, I quite enjoyed it.
I confess that I read the novel before watching the series and I really like the story. If my evaluation is based only on the romance, or even on the performance of some actors like Mean and Perth, who, in my opinion, stood out, my evaluation would be much higher, however, to evaluate it, it is necessary to be impartial .
If the plot was totally faithful to the novel, the users' evaluation would be much higher, because it really had everything to be the best BL series, because it is not cliché like many others, however, they added new couples and tried to adapt other stories, such as the couples KengklaTechno and TumTar, which have nothing to do with this novel.
I believe that, they should have focused only on the couples of the story itself, being AePete and TinCan, this way, the plot could have been better worked out about the history of each of the characters and would have shown better about how the relationship between them develops, and also, there were many parts in the novel, that should have been considered essential to be in the series, that they did not put, because in the series, some things were not clear, and only by reading the novel , people will be able to understand better.
Important facts about the characters that the series did not address and only become clear in the novella:
AE is a simple boy who never compares himself with anyone, his life is just studying, helping his family and playing soccer, until he meets PETE, when he develops feelings for PETE, it is revealed that he has low self-esteem, behavior that leads him to be possessive with Pete, it is because he compares himself with Tin because of his social status, even though he trusts Pete, he feels that Tin has interest in Pete and sees him as a threat and this comparison makes him not want Pete around Tin. And, another important fact that must be addressed in Drama, for a better understanding of the AE character, is that Pete met his friends at Pond's birthday, AE compares himself to his friend Sun, because he is handsome and shows interest in Pete, which becomes the main reason for not wanting Pete to travel with him and his friends.
PETE, is a shy and insecure boy, and after the bad event he faces with Trump, his ex-boyfriend, is left with many traumas and fears. When AE opens his heart to Pete, he is happy, but at the same time discredited, he thinks AE is straight and will regret getting involved with him, so he asks AE to open her mind to other people, in this case Chompoo, because in Pete's mind, although AE is sure that she wants to be with him, Pete doesn't want him to suffer the same discrimination he suffered for being gay. And even after they are already dating, Pete is still very insecure and also shows a possessive side towards AE.
We get a glimpse of TIN and CAN's story, but their story develops more in the second season, and of course, just like AE and PETE, they also have their internal, psychological, social and family problems to deal with. TIN, as a child, went through an episode where he felt betrayed by the person he trusted most, in this case his older brother. He then began to distrust everyone, and became a cold and calculating person who treats everyone around him with contempt and shows his "superiority". It is only when he meets CAN, a naive, hyperactive, and immature boy, that he gradually helps him to overcome his problems.
A negative point of the series is that they adapted these four couples in the story and, in the end, the plot of none of them was well developed, leaving many points open, even to drag it to a second season, which would not be necessary. And another negative point, is that in the last episode there is a scene that can be considered rape, being this event of a couple that has just been adapted and does not belong to this story.
Overall, I liked the series, it has a light and funny atmosphere, and that each of the characters did well in their respective roles.
For those who have not yet watched the series, I advise you to read the novel first, because the events of the series are well summarized, you will have a better understanding of the characters. And for those who have already watched the series, but haven't read the novel, you should read it, it may change your concept from negative to positive, or it may make you fall in love even more! The story really goes far beyond what is shown in the Drama.
But even with these comparisons, LBC is still one of the few BL's that I like. The story is very good and has a lot of potential, it deals with several themes and concepts and social and family issues, and also the internal struggle of the characters to overcome their traumas and fears, the story also shows us, about how the events and the internal and external relationships can influence the behavior and personality of people, besides relating the development of the relationship and the personal maturing of each one.
Give it a chance, it's worth it!

Lots of mystery, suspense, and great acting! Waiting for the second season

Particularly, I am not used to watch mystery and suspense movies and series, but I confess that I decided to watch this series because it has some actors that I like a lot.
At first, I thought I would not like it, but the acting of each one of the characters is so good that it caught me in the story and aroused my curiosity. And of course, each character has their own particular issue, which makes it even more interesting.
Watching this series, I felt all kinds of emotions possible.
Each character aroused a different feeling in me. I felt a lot of anger in several moments with the character Anan, who always likes to keep control over everything and everyone, and give orders, without taking into consideration the opinion and feelings of others, regardless of whether they are colleagues or girlfriends. The moments that touch me the most are the scenes with Krit, Jack and his sister Jan, they were amazing in every scene and have a lot of chemistry, it's really involving, I cried a lot! And also, I felt very tense in several other scenes with other actors.
There are many moments and situations that leave us confused, but, considering that it is a series of mystery and suspense, it is normal, right? And also, we have an open ending, which leaves us with a lot of expectation for a second season.
I hope that in the future there will be a second season with all the same cast, and I wish a different ending for Krit and Jack.

This miniseries is good for fans to enjoy their favorite actors

What can I say? This drama is very short and there are some misunderstandings, which they talk about and resolve at the end. But, it is very nice to see the main cast again after watching LBC. I liked how they changed the characteristics of the characters. Only Mean, who in my opinion, stands out better playing characters like Tin who are more serious and cold, or Alex (UWMA), but he also did very well, I just don't get used to seeing him play characters who are fragile and sentimental. Now, Perth gets into any character with ease, it's very natural, I'm more and more impressed with his acting ability. I liked Saint's acting, in particular, between his characters, I liked him best as Son, who is more confident compared to Pete.
Overall, it was good to see these characters acting together again here, after LBC. What I liked the most was seeing the characters of Perth (Pin) and Mean (Two) interacting together as friends, this detail was everything for me!

Let's get to the misunderstandings:
PinSon: They have a routine of eating and spending time together, even with the individual responsibilities of studying and training. Son wants to learn to play the guitar and surprise Pin by playing a song on his birthday and asks Noh to teach him. So far so good, but Son begins to be absent and no longer has time to be with Pin and rarely answers him, and makes excuses to keep him away so he doesn't find out about the surprise, but of course Pin will confront him and he will keep lying. Son cannot be honest and tell his boyfriend the truth, until Pin goes to his boyfriend's apartment and sees a note from his "teacher", and of course, taking into consideration the lies, he will get it wrong.
TwoWish: They like each other and even go out together. Wish knows that Two likes him, but he himself has a hard time being honest with his own feelings.
PhumNoh: They are already adults and have been in a relationship for a long time. They trust each other, but due to the rush and many responsibilities, Phum has no time to spend with her boyfriend, and only Noh when they have time goes to see him. Of course, seeing his boyfriend being approached and talking to "new friends", he will be upset, as he feels that he does not treat him as a priority, as he does.

Of course, these misunderstandings, can be solved with just a sincere conversation, we can also take something good out of it. So, that's the positive point of being a short Drama with only 3 episodes, these also being of short duration. It was not a story dragged out for many episodes, which is good!
Overall, this miniseries is good for fans to enjoy their favorite actors.

Very poorly developed storyline

Honestly, I don't have much to say about this series. I knew some of the actors, so I decided to give it a chance. I will only expose my opinion, but I want to make it clear, that I really respect the personal opinion of each person, and also respect their tastes and preferences, regardless of the genre of the series, being BL or not.

This particular drama, I did not find interesting, even the issues addressed, in fact, is like any other BL series, it's more like they copied a scene from each series and made an adaptation, and see, I watched very few. The story had nothing different or innovative, and was even confusing in some moments.
Chemistry? There were indeed moments when Fighter and Tutor showed chemistry by their reactions, however, their relationship seemed to have more lust than love. I believe, that they should do more work on this storyline, and honestly, the pandemic is not an excuse for a failed storyline. The second main couple may be considered cute, but there is nothing interesting in their story.
In this Drama, there was absolutely nothing that hooked me.
As I am fair with my evaluations, from my opinion, it is worth pointing out that Zee was expressive in his character and Saint's acting, improved a little, he acted better as Tutor than as Pete, but he still has a long way to go, his acting is good, but not great, maybe because the characters he plays have some similar characteristics. The moments that he stood out for acting with a different characteristic, were in the Hot scenes and only! But for me, sex scenes are irrelevant, I consider the content more. Even if they have many hot scenes between the characters, it's not a problem, the main issue is when they emphasize too much these intimate moments between the characters, than to show how their relationship develops, for me the chemistry between FighterTutor only came down to sexual desire, and only this is not enough.
The second main couple, I can't tell, but in many moments they seem like beginners to me.
Regarding the rest of the cast, what is the need to adapt many couples? There is no point in having a great cast and good actors, if in the end, the story of none is well worked out. This storyline failed miserably!

An interesting point that I have observed following the comments, and the reviews, is that a great part of the public, are not totally fair in their evaluations.
Particularly, I can honestly say, that the BL industry is successful only with fanservice, ships and hot scenes, because it seems that many consider the chemistry between the characters only in these moments, and do not consider the plot itself, because most BL Dramas, can be considered toxic, there are only a few that really have a good story and are worth it.
I believe that the overall rating should be considered for the overall performance, taking into consideration the plot, and the acting of the entire cast, not just your favorite actors. I confess, if I were to consider only my favorite actors, my feedback would be much more positive and my ratings would be much higher. But actually, from my observation, considering the ratings, people only support ships and their favorite actors.

It's good, but if it was more faithful to Romance, it would have been much better

The second season was a bit painful to watch. For those who have not read the novel, it must be very confusing the line of reasoning of the events, in relation to the end of the relationship with AePete and the departure of Pete to Germany, but as I already know the story for having read the novel before, I liked it.
I really like Plan and Mean's acting, they are good, especially Mean, but in the moments of interaction as a couple in the kissing scenes and intimate scenes, they seemed very awkward. The main couple TinCan have a very good interaction, but lacked chemistry in those moments.
Seeing AE's suffering in the series was heartbreaking. Perth's acting is so good that it made me agonize, I needed a lot of time to watch his scenes. I really love how he gets into character, so natural. I literally felt AE's suffering. According to the original Novel, AE really goes through this period of depression when Pete breaks up with him. This period of 3 years that Pete is out of the country and all the suffering of when they are separated, will contribute a lot to their maturing. Pete will be more confident, and AE will no longer be so jealous and possessive. Their relationship will be more mature.
The downside is that Pete's character has practically disappeared, with him being one of the main characters in the plot. In the novel AePete broke up, but he told both sides of the story during this period when they were away from each other. This fact, caused a negative impact on the plot, for not being faithful to the Romance. Anyway... what really hooked me into watching the second season was Perth's performance, even though it was painful, a good performance is worth seeing.
And regarding the couples KenglaTechno and TumTar, I found the story dragged. Considering, that they do not belong to the original story of LBC, they are just adapted characters.
Overall, the second season could have been much better, but there were many drawbacks, such as the departure of Saint (Pete) which had a negative impact, and Perth, I didn't want them to replace him with another actor. I think it would be much better if, the same way they replaced the actor who plays Tin's brother, they also replaced the actor who plays Pete, and made a storyline more faithful to Romance, the audience feedback would be much more positive, even if some fans would be upset, not replacing the actor Saint and not bringing Pete into the story, was a big mistake, but I still liked it. In my case, I already know the story, so I evaluate the positives and negatives and compare it to the original Romance story.
I love this novel, I am always rereading the story.
For people who haven't watched it yet and haven't read Romance, I advise them to read it first, before watching Drama. Many people criticize it because they don't know the story, but if you read the Novel first, you will have a better understanding of the Drama, what is going on with each character, and about the logic of the events.
The plot of the Drama is inferior compared to the Romance, but it is worth a chance!
