I’m generalizing based on my own experiences, but women can love one man for a very long time, if not a lifetime, but it’s very rare for men to do so, they cheat even when she’s still alive, so if YQ was to die for YT and world peace, she will make sure his sacrifice will be worth it and protect those and whatever he loves for a lifetime. However men, they’re out of sight, out of mind creatures. They’re also not as objective as women. Women can love and think at the same time. Men? They only think with one thing when it comes down to it. Haha. Once he falls in love with someone else, because they do move on a lot quicker in general, whatever or whoever she loves will no longer be protected. He’ll move on to protect what the new girl desires. Women are more objective and wired differently. They can be so many roles at once, a wife, a mother, an employee, a daughter, a friend, a church member, you name it, she can split her attention, love, grace, and protection to many different areas and people in her life. But men generally worry about very little, they love themselves the most. Look at all the bad fathers in here. Why do we have the famous fairytales of evil Step Mothers? Because they’re true. Men cater and please their new beauty and forget about all their prior promises and responsibilities. So yes, write a will, do an irrevocable trust for your children. I’ve seen and lived out too many stories in reality. There are some women who are just as bad but the majority men are cheap and selfish.
Men and women grieve differently. Women are too sad to do anything. They’d lay next to the body if possible. But men? They drink and some relieve this grief in bodily ways with others even if they still love her. That’s the stupid part.
But of course, if it’s YQ, in this type of fantasy drama, he’ll most likely be like YeHua, remain faithful until the very end. Either one is sad. There’s no right or wrong answer.
The heavenly realm doesn’t need YQ, they need to do what they preach. They supposedly uphold justice and peace YET they’re the ones scheming and discriminating. They mistreat anyone who doesn’t benefit them like low ranking fairies to even Di LanJue and YeTan who are freaking royalty in their respective realms.
No one even bothered to really punish Bi Qiong for trespassing and theft and the male cousin for disrespecting and bullying the future heavenly queen?!! If these two can do such despicable things to the future queen, they obviously fear no one, not the heavenly emperor, not the rules, not the laws of the realm. The only thing they’re afraid of is getting caught and that’s only because they’re not as powerful as YQ. But dude, if they were, they’d be abusing their powers and status more than this. Corruption all the way from the top, yup, they got it from the heavenly emperor.
No wonder the Void realm hates them. But Void Tyrant is no better, always causing the brothers to kill each other one way or another. I don’t blame the Void Empress because in the end, it’s the tyrant that makes the final decision. I’m sure he wouldn’t stab himself even if the empress demanded him to. I haven't read any spoilers but knowing how well written this drama is, tying everything all together, I think the only way YQ will fight YT later on as it seems he returns to the heavenly realm is when he faints during that scene when QK kills herself, the heavenly emperor uses this chance to put that stake of oblivion into him and he forgets YT. That's why he had no emotions when they were fighting later on in the trailers.
I hope the heavenly empress leaves that POS husband of hers. How can she stand him torturing her children and driving them to death? It's YouQin now, it'll be QingHeng and ZiWu next.
