After seeing LMT's umbrella at the escort agency, I thought CXZ was worried that LMT, who hasn't fully healed, would be killed too if she was there. I mean, they did try to kill her when she chased after him into war. He knows they won't let her off either. Remember, the shadow guards who used to spy on her are now protecting her out of love. In a way, he's still wary that she can regain her memories at any moment now BUT I think he was more concerned about her safety more than anything. The boy hugged her after knowing that it wasn't her umbrella and two, he slept like a log right after. So if he had suspected her more than that, he wouldn't have. Not only that, CXZ has sort of pardoned LMT, persuading himself to go easy on her because she, too, had it hard being kidnapped by bandits and all. Why else did he let her off with all his assets and servants when he divorced her?

So in this, LMT tested CXZ. CXZ loves her whole heartedly now so his guards are down. But LMT just discovered the truth, she wants to know who CJ really is.

If LMT had stayed with Ziyu, she'd be dead for sure. CJ did save her and he took advantage of the situation but not her. Yup, agree, he's not perfect but a pretty decent guy.

I don't think anyone is romanticizing ML's lies but rather understand his position. Like he said, LMT is LW's concubine. To live in a world of bandits, LMT must not be a force to reckon with either. They're doing illegal stuff. Everyone in this drama has a reason behind their decisions even ML. People may not always agree with his methods but they're his methods.

Awww I actually felt sorry for him seeing how much he loves her when he was yelling for her and hugged her when he returned to the villa. It's hard for him. They just won a war but are now trying to catch the war instigators. It's a bit too chaotic to tell her the truth now. They're not even home yet. But yasss! I'm waiting for the groveling.😂😂

It's like LMT didn't know she needed a life with CJ as her hubby until she lived it and was genuinely happy. But now, all of that is gone.😭😭 That's why the slow buildup was ABSOLUTELY necessary to feel the loss and pain once reality seeped in.

LMT finally found a home, not in the mountains with bandits, where she can do honest business, a trade she has become so good at to raise a warm family surrounded by simple folks, comes back to a loving handsome husband who may not be the bravest or brightest at times, but supports her endeavors, doesn't place her in any danger, takes care of her, allows her to be anything she wishes, be it a homemaker, loving wife, or entrepreneur, and truly makes her happy. So far, Lu Wen barely smiles versus LMT, she's always so positive even when there were so many hardships and injustices. Just like CJ said to her, why are all the problems in the world so trivial to her and her answer was, him. Together, they can overcome anything. CJ is the stable home she has been waiting for too. Her whole life has been turbulent. Sure, she's young and enjoys being independent, but her life is always on the line. In the deep mountains, there's no warmth and comfort, it's a cold and lonely place to be for a woman in the end. She can never catch a break in the mountains, so the assassination on her life was a blessing in disguise. CJ ends up choosing her over everything and everyone, that moves the heart no matter how tough it has gotten over the years. I just love like what LMT said to CJ, you don't have to act tough all the time. LMT doesn't have to be this scary bandit leader all the time. She can just be a gentle, feminine, and cute LMT who loves CJ's heartwarming massages. She, too, can be childlike and weak in his presence.

That's what hurts the most because it's all fake, for now.

If CXZ thought he had a bad night, her bros got killed, she almost died, and now, her happy marriage life is all a fake. 😭🥴

ZWY just looks sooooo good in here. I was rewatching some Lost You Forever episodes last night and ummm...the boy is killin it in here. He looks so mature and handsome. I have to say, he has really good chemistry with WCR so far. Probably one of his best to me.

The FL is just a small fish. Prince Sui is one of the bigger backers that can kill anyone to cover up their tracks. They use and dispose people very easily. Just like in today's episode, he killed FL's entire escort agency and stole the ledger. The less mouths, the less secrets will spill is what it comes down to it. Just because FL works for them, doesn't mean she's on their side. She's just an employee or contractor in their eyes, can get rid of any time.

I agree. This drama has been using flashbacks wisely so far, adding to the impact when used.
