Sorry girls, I was out of town but I'm back and I replied to your post. π₯° Thank you for the profound thoughts.
If we thought Yuan Qi and Feng Yin waited over 2,000 years for their happy ending, San Sheng Shi waited longer for Ao Ge, no?! But it was well worth it.

Yeah, they should've zoomed in on Yuan Qi also getting hurt because anyone could've easily missed it, since this director or editor loves far away angles. Poor lad. He truly needed 1,000 years to recuperate.π I hope the Netflix version will be better with newly added scenes.ππΌππΌ

Hey, in Episode 25, when Yuan Qi shouts to withdraw the sword and runs over to A Yin, did he fall because the sword also cut him too? Because in the beginning of Episode 26, when he's searching for her through his soul mark, he had a huge cut or something bloody on the left or was it A Yin's blood? When I first watched that scene, I was like why did he fall? That's how bad they edited this scene. If he was also hurt by the sword, I think they should've emphasized this, which shows that he risked his life just to protect her again but it was too late. Seems like the sword already killed her when her water powers/barrier around them disappeared and blood already stained her gown. I want to make sure I wasn't seeing or misunderstanding anything. π

I wish one company could've purchased all the novels and filmed them at the same time together, so they can feature the cast from each novel in the other ones. It definitely would've been a nice treat.
Wow this is really slow moving. What episode does feng yin become the Phoenix or the episode where the show gets…
Hmm, the drama may not be for you then if you think it's not interesting by now. The first 14 episodes or so are the adventures and then after that, the pace slows down a bit as the emotions set in.
Hua Shu didn't like Gujin on her end.... She only just wanted to "marry" to anyone who can benefit her Peacock…
If Lan Feng didn't die early, I'm not sure if they would've lasted. She's pretty rotten. Sure, she wanted to be a good person when she realized Lan Feng's unconditional love for her, but to me, her love for him was pretty surface. It's always easier said than done. Another parallel is, Yuan Qi died protecting the realms. His love propelled Feng Yin to protect the realms, so his death wouldn't be in vain. Yuan Qi's love changed Feng Yin from being someone who never wanted to be queen or to live in a strict hierarchical environment full of rules and no freedom to becoming a ruler to fulfill his dreams. Hua Shu knew that Lan Feng was a good person, he would've wanted her to rule the realms like Feng Yin and not turn a blind eye to corruption but nope, she was still rotten during those one thousand years. The contrast between the two couples is very interesting to see. The lead pair understand each other and carry one another's burdens, pain, hardships, and love while the other, Lan Feng's wishes meant nothing to Hua Shu if they didn't align with hers.
