I think there was too much to cover and not enough time in 40 episodes. But kudos to the cast for working with…
I agree. 10 more episodes would've been perfect to cover everything.

That's the beauty of this drama, actually. We get to see the consequences of mistakes and their redemption, too.
I agree. Very lucky that they're immortals who never really die, so they get to redeem their mistakes. Sucks for us, though. πŸ˜‚ That's why sometimes I like watching xianxias, we get to see beyond our short mortal lives of the what ifs.

Title The Last Immortal Spoiler
While she was working with A in Youming he made clear he wasn't the X that she loved. At the end, she had a red…
Short version. Xiu Yan and Ao Ge are twin brothers who look alike. In the war 70,000 years ago, when Xiu Yan sacrificed his life to save the realms, he was split into two. Half of him was stuck in the abyssal prison and sealed Ming Qi away and the other half of him was kept in Ao Ge's body to heal. With that said, San Sheng Shi, the rock, has always only loved Ao Ge not Xiu Yan. She knows the twins share one body. Ao Ge is the rougher and more impatient twin. Xiu Yan is the gentler twin. San Sheng Shi belongs to the nether realm which has always been Xiu Yan's. However, when the twins shared the same body, Ao Ge took over the position in that realm. Ao Ge doesn't let anyone near him and he's usually angry/unapproachable most of the time, so in that scene you're talking about, San Sheng Shi takes a chance to touch Ao Ge's hands/his body because she missed him, but at that time, it was Xiu Yan who occupied the body thus said that he's not the guy she loves. But she was probably happy with just being able to physically touch his body anyway. I hope that makes sense. At last, she got her wish to become the heavenly match maker and tied a red string connecting her to Ao Ge. Honestly, I think Ao Ge has always liked her too but he was too busy repairing/healing his twin's spirit.

I'd like to ask. I plan to watch Ancient Love Poetry. But I watched 2 episodes and... Zhao Lu Si is Zhao Lu Si.…
They're stand alone dramas, so you actually don't have to watch ALP before this one or vice versa. Just watch each drama for what they are and you'd be a happier watcher that way.

ML is so weak and impulsive and also stubborn person. A true God representation of him didn't suit him compared…
Another ALP fan and comparison.πŸ˜‚ We don't want the ML to be a repeat of his father. The ML is free to have his own story. I love how a true god's powers is portrayed in here through Yuan Qi. It's going to be different and there's nothing wrong with that. Yuan Qi doesn't need to blow up 10 mountains and physically crush Ming Qi to show how powerful he is as a true god. He can't forcibly change anyone that way. When has crying become a form of weakness? Men can't cry or else they're too weak, too focused on love, can't be responsible people? πŸ₯Ή Through love, Yuan Qi gave 10/10 of his true god spirit to save the people he loved and sacrificed his chaos origin for the realms, which convinced Ming Qi to change his fate too. Pathetic? Just because he wants to be with the one he loves? Then I must gladly accept that I'm pathetic too. πŸ˜‚πŸ₯Ή But I understand. You have your points. At least you watched it though.πŸ₯³

I scored it an 8, would love to have gone higher, but just a couple of things for me:The agnst, there was so much…
Yeah, A Yin was 4 years old so she was the purest one. Gu Jin at 200 years old is basically a 5 year old compared to all the older immortals. I actually felt sorry for them, the leads were children in this show. They had to deal with elders they were supposed to trust and respect. It's real life in many aspects. There are so many people at the top that don't deserve our respect and hard work, but we can't do anything about the establishment. They play us in a game they make the rules for. It's not about being smart. A lot of smart people have disappeared in revealing the truth sometimes. It's about gathering enough evidence, having the right people, and waiting for the right time to BRING the house of corruption down from top to bottom. It's not an easy feat. It may look easy in the drama but putting myself in their shoes, it's sort of hard. Thank goodness they're immortals and get a chance to be reborn and receive justice because the human life is sooo short, people never get justice sometimes.
