Something YuanQi and HongYi have in common? is that they're cute, clumsy and clueless when they're in love😂😂
I love Hong Yi. He fell in love with Yan Shuang a long time ago during their fake wedding but out of guilt and loyalty to A Yin, he couldn't move on. If he did, it'll be another less person remembering her and bringing justice to her name. He too grew up with the loss.
The majority of people who had something bad to say about this drama are ironically ALP fans. Lol After I'm done…
While I understand where ALP fans are coming from, this thread is becoming ALP versus TLI. It's sort of pointless to compare the dramas? The directors, teams, to screenwriters are all different? A lot of us are enjoying TLI as a stand alone drama, so we don't have prior expectations that can really affect the watch value. I totally get it. I've read serval novels turned into live adaptations and was disappointed in the outcome but sometimes, we have to let go and enjoy the drama for what it is. This was produced by a whole different team and target, expect differences that won't be up to par. But yes, now that I've watched TLI, ALP will probably make more sense to me.
Another full circle or similarity: They brought Feng Yin back via a pagoda and also, Yuan Qi.
I'm actually sort of glad that they didn't do the epilogue of their child because like a lot of you have said, this drama is meant to be a youthful one, so having a child at the end matures the tone.
