Something YuanQi and HongYi have in common? is that they're cute, clumsy and clueless when they're in love😂😂
I love Hong Yi. He fell in love with Yan Shuang a long time ago during their fake wedding but out of guilt and loyalty to A Yin, he couldn't move on. If he did, it'll be another less person remembering her and bringing justice to her name. He too grew up with the loss.

I googled Pear Blossom and its meaning "Pear blossoms traditionally represent purity, love, and longevity in Chinese…
That's a token of their love, so pure and everlasting.

Wow..another Zhao LuSi drama completed.. absolutely loved her in TLI.. Super love the chemistry with Wang Anyu.…
Yes, wished there was more skin ship and kissing scenes. They're such a beautiful pair, why not have them show more affection? 😉

Puahahah! I WISH! 😍Thank you for the clip. Now, I really want to see them in a modern love story with WAY being aggressive this time.

I can't get over those times when Yuanqi calls Fengyin "夫人 (Fūrén)" meaning Honey / Wife. And the way he…
Agree; it's super endearing especially waiting for 1,000 years to say it. 😙

They are great parallel and consistency for the main leads and not to mention growth as well thats what I love…
A hug would've been nice. Even Spirit Sword had lines to say and more screen time. Haha.

One of my favorite scenes was Episode 30 when Yuan Qi finally put Hua Shu in her place. He would've killed her if not for Lan Feng.

I once said in here that by episode 37 if people can still hate on Yuanqi as a character then I will never understand…
Yeah. That's probably one of the reasons why I enjoy this drama. Our leads were always going against the current just like this drama is right now.

After watching eps 39, I understand that the drama title "The Last Immotal" refers to A Yin who was the last disciple…
Makes sense.

To everyone who just finished the drama and are about to write your thoughts about it. Avoid using the words 'mediocre'…
This thread is far from being toxic. I've seen worse.

The majority of people who had something bad to say about this drama are ironically ALP fans. Lol After I'm done…
While I understand where ALP fans are coming from, this thread is becoming ALP versus TLI. It's sort of pointless to compare the dramas? The directors, teams, to screenwriters are all different? A lot of us are enjoying TLI as a stand alone drama, so we don't have prior expectations that can really affect the watch value. I totally get it. I've read serval novels turned into live adaptations and was disappointed in the outcome but sometimes, we have to let go and enjoy the drama for what it is. This was produced by a whole different team and target, expect differences that won't be up to par. But yes, now that I've watched TLI, ALP will probably make more sense to me.

Another full circle or similarity: They brought Feng Yin back via a pagoda and also, Yuan Qi.

I'm actually sort of glad that they didn't do the epilogue of their child because like a lot of you have said, this drama is meant to be a youthful one, so having a child at the end matures the tone.

I haven't started on that one yet. But I'm glad you enjoyed this one.

Yes, I'm going to write one when I finish rewatching it. I'm on Episode 10 of my rewatch. Lol
