The ratings are soo misleading- they REALLY shouldn't be that high. I'm literally forcing myself to continue watching…
Try the rise of ning it's a whole differnt vibe/genre of historical cdrama tho...More family focused! There is also fangs of fortune (about to start it) Or you can wait for The story of pearl girl coming next week i think!
Just hope the drama ends in a high node. But no, writer, director still manage to screw it up.The wedding scenes…
This drama literally has one of the most detailed wedding scenes I have seen lol They included almost all the traditions and process....Tho I do admit with the wedding kiss...We did get 3 in this series and honestly in kdrama/cdrama when it comes to kiss scenes/bed scenes the results to expect have always been on the milder side! I do agree that LJX shouldn't have taken so much of the last ep and I would have liked if he was dealed with sooner but I guess we can't have it all >< To me his end was that of an obsessed fool who gave up on himself in the name of "love" (at least inside his head his feelings were that )
Shamefull. The writers gave the main villain an honorable death and that made him the real hero of the show. The…
Idk personally I found it fitting....It's because of how obsessed he is with FL that he sees or considers nothing else but her...He is a mad dog with an incurrable obsession over FL...This was also what made him into a dumb fool when we know he had the wits (on the early part of the series) to fight against ML's mind games better... And his death its not that of a hero but a fool blinded by his obsession and "love".
Does it have a SE or HE? Also, how long will they be using the dramatic music effects and close-ups? They seem to be trying really hard to make a scene even darker than it is. Idk how exactly to explain it...Some scenes look "overdone" like they are trying to make us feel more about them, but personally that makes it duller for me TT
Okay those things aside...I love the core plot and enemies-to-lovers theme! And ofc I have watched both of the leads before so I know how good they can be!! I just hope the overall plot/script and directing won't disappoint me...
when do they acknowledge their feelings for each other? is there a last minute breakup or a last minute happy…
-They will officially acknowledge their feelings for one another after ep 31-32! However, there are instances of them falling for one another on earlier eps too!^^ -No there are no breakups between them! There is a happy ending and it's not last minute! -There is no miscommunication/misunderstanding between the leads! If anything they make a good team, working together as a duo to take down their enemies!
I finally reached the end and now I am reluctant to part ways!😭❤️
"The Rise of Ning" is a captivating series that beautifully weaves themes of personal growth, love, and resilience. As the leads navigate through their struggles, the show emphasizes their dynamic relationship, filled with support and understanding, and serves as a reminder of the importance of having allies in our pursuit of happiness. Ning specifically is portrayed with depth and relatability, showcasing her struggles and triumphs in a way that resonates with us viewers. As for the ML, Shenyuan keeps showing his unwavering support for Yining. His genuine belief in her potential is not just a plot device; it reflects a deeper understanding of the importance of mutual support in relationships and what helps set him apart. He is not just a charming romantic interest; he has his own struggles and aspirations, which makes him relatable and realistic. Throughout the series, we see him grapple with his ambitions, fears, and personal challenges. As for the supporting cast, it adds a delightful layer to the story, each character bringing their unique stories and perspectives, which enrich the narrative and create a vibrant tapestry of relationships (tho the 2nd couple did get a bit too much attention in certain eps for my liking since I found their romance kind of bland). All in all, this series is a must-watch for those seeking a warm story centering around family and a touch of romance, and it is sure to leave a lasting impression on your heart. Highly recommended!
The way I started to fill a spec of sadness when I saw LJX's crying scene after the wedding but he just had to go and fuck it all up with his follow-up plan...Yep, he does not deserve even that I guess...sigh...He is way too far gone in his madness!
she's the heiress, everything is hers and her kids' after her....she's not leaving anything, instead she's bringing…
If that was the case then Shenyuan would have to marry into the duke's family but in the drama they clearly showed her arriving at the Luo family house and marrying in...Idk what they plan to do with their titles in the future but for now her father holds it and she married in the Luo family...
Finally reached the wedding scene and oh my...They really gave us the full course!! Like almost all the steps of the wedding and its traditions are shown in great detail!! I am loving it!!
The Wei fam's bridal send-off scene especially when her father's turn came on, it brought me to tears 😭😭 "I feel like you just returned yesterday. Why are you leaving so soon? I'm heartbroken..."😭😭
Why does LJX always appear like an annoying fly around the FL?? TT
"Whether you admit it or not, I am the person you should marry!"
Well...How about NO!
Also later on in the same scene "But I don't care who you love and who you want to marry. You will always be my meimei!"
Talk about selfishness and obsession...Yining was right...LJX doesn't know what real love is! She doesn't want him, yet he is trying to gaslight her into believing he is the only one right for her...Like how are you the only right person for her, when the bride herself doesn't want you...The madness!!
