Just finished this and oh man the final ep hits HARD!! I can't stop crying TT This ending was so bitterly sweet for me... However, I will never regret watching it!! My lingling and lanzhu may you find happiness together now!! Finally, I would like to recommend this drama to everyone!!
Idk personally I am enjoying ep 1 and looking forward to the next ep!! A scammer FL who will come around X a depressed ML who "lives" in the past. Plus I am interested to see more of the supernatural aspect of the show and the rest of the characters!!^^
As someone who has checked a few eps from the leaked ver. (with fan subs) and hasn't checked the iQiyi broadcasted ver. yet... I wanted to know if the official ver. has cut out any parts? Because so far I think they are doing well with the BL aspect in the leaked ver. for a Chinese series... So I want to know from those who have seen both if the two ver. are the same in that aspect...
can anyone explained the last scene "why token no. 2?"What does it mean?
It means that the fuma (prince consort) was not the final boss but no2 instead...That means the true boss of this organazation is sm else(the faceless man figure shown in the end who adds the final piece with no1 on the table). So there was actually an even higher more powerful mastermind...So my guess is who?? I doubt this will get a S2 so were there any clues left that went unoticed by us??

Omg I am soo glad we are getting a season 2!! This is currently one of my fave on-going series!! And the rom-com and mystery/crime blend so well in this one!! I hope we can have a S2 with all the of cast!!
Honestly, this drama kept getting better and better for me!! I love how we can see Minyoung's character growth and her gaining confidence and finally taking her life into her own hands!! I am also content with how all the villains were handled!! And I am also very happy with the ending!! Finally, one of the rare dramas that shows us what happens after they achieve their HE even briefly. Overall I believe the drama served what it promised to the viewer and the ending scene with the cherry blossom trees was just stunning to look at!!
Xu Wei (white haired dude from Hengdao Sect) went to the Dragon Pool first in order to exchange his life/memories…
Oh I see, thanks! It totally makes sense^^ I just thought that Qi would also give her a whole lifespan but since she is a divine beast and Xu Wei also contributed, it makes sense for her to be left some and come back!! It's kinda ironic and symbolic btw, if you think about it!! The drama started with both of them having no memories of their past and it also ended with them having no memories again (and even not having each other this time)...But I am sure they will, like as you said, get together again!! Since their fates are intertwined. ^^
This drama started all bubbly only to have me bawl my eyes out from around 28 ep to the very last ep... This drama is full of emotions, the cast performed well and the mystery was well handled.
But I still can't understand the ending??

Didn't Qi exchange herself at the dragon pool so that Jin Zhao would come back? So how did she also show up in the end and they met each other in the mortal realm?? Like I am all for the happy ending but i need to understand how...
I have one complaint about the drama, for now, the rifle Ji-an found underneath the sofa. I'm not a gun fanatic…
The gun was m700 model night version infrared scope. During the day you use a hole the size of a needle hole on the front cover to use it. and only open the cover at night. It was explained by the gun expert on the filming site.
Saw people saying this is similar to Military Prosecutor Doberman (even has the same lead actor) and I AM SO EXCITED TO START THIS!! >< MPD was one of my faves so I am certain I will fall in love with this one as well!!
Some things I would like to point out in general 1. A series isn't required to have too much action & drama to be enjoyable! !Sometimes a simple slice of life with a basic storyline that is beautifully shot with a good cast is what one needs!! It all boils down to what you signed up for... If you find it boring then you were certainly not in the mood for this type of drama to begin with... It happens to me too sometimes so I leave certain series for later. 2. Fish kisses have been a thing not only in KBL but Kdrama in general... Let's just say that most korean kiss scenes suck lol If I was to judge a series based on their kiss scenes many of my 9 star faves would be lower lol As long as their chemi in general is good I will eat it up!! ><

Nah... To me he looks like a multi-layered snake!! He is just not your simple kind of psycho but twisted! Him saying "I was the one who told your uncle were you were locked to come and save you BUT I was also the one who locked you up" LIKE???? Also the basement guy said that he was part of the reason her uncle died....Plus all the weird laughs of his in ep 4....IDK... I don't trust him no more!!
I still find it brutal how they (the rebels of the code system) ganged up and killed the uncle with the specialized…
Yes it hasn't been shown yet ( how her uncle died) but it's pretty clear it was not suicide like the police claimed and him running this shop and these "rebels of the code system" coming after his niece now it's proof enough to me that they were the ones to kill him!! I am sure in the next eps we will get to see what exactly happend to him in detail...But the motive to kill both of them is clear as day!

And his niece being a mere cub must not amount much in their eyes...But I bet she will surprise them in lots of ways!! What I am most curious about tho...Is how did he get into this mess?? Selling weapons to contract killers, spies etc. Was he really an NIS agent working undercover or what?? Also they seem to have been coming for him ever since back then when they killed his brother/sister in law...I really want to see how the niece will take that after learning the whole truth ( I bet part of her memories from back then might be forgotten cause of the trauma and maybe only remembering/putting the pieces together now)

All the main and support actors so far have been nothing short of BRILLIANT!! Esp the child actor ate that up!! What a performance fr!! Cannot wait for next ep to drop!!

The ones who want her dead are the what I call "rebels of the code system"! Her uncle put both his name AND her name as Code Green "everyone with other codes must risk their lives to protect Code Green". So as long as these two are gone they won't have to risk their lives for anyone plus if they find her uncle's weapon's they could keep them... I still find it brutal how they ganged up and killed him with the specialized weapons they bought from him...Like a pack of hyenas coming after a lone lion fr...
