Everyone is being so critical of this drama, so now I'm scared it's gonna be a letdown (I'm about 20 minutes into…
Itâs all a question of personal preference. Iâve really been enjoying it so far. There are a few things that I would have preferred differently, but many things about this drama are great. The 2 leads are perfect and the romance delivers imo. I really enjoyed watching them growing together. The martial arts scenes are wonderful. Costumes, styling etc are really beautiful.
Because everyone disappointed that it is different from the book but really they should learn to differentiate…
I donât think at all that there was not enough time for them to develop real feelings for each other. They started already developing some kind of feelings when they were still pretending, and then, while working together, to achieve a shared goal, they developed mutual understanding, compassion for their past, and admiration, and of course deeper romantic feelings. That said, I wish the writers had balanced the cute scenes in the village with more serious toned scenes between them.
WJY really is a joy to watch, amazing! I also loved the fight scene in the woods together with LXY. Superb choreography!
I was thinking the same. Of course this scene was very sad like this, but they could have added some blurred people running towards him at least in the end.
I'm still pissed she did not participate in the revenge fight. It was her life's motivation. Now she just walks…
Absolutely agreed! And I couldnât care less for the Xiyanâs struggle for the throne thatâs about to come next. I wish they had written this differently. Up to now Iâve been enjoying this drama very much.
I cannot believe Mei Lin is left out of the equation of this revenge. This was HER revenge too! Dammit. I'm pissed.
Agree! How could they leave her out? And even if she knows MJH did it to save her , she must feel so betrayed. It was their common goal, they worked together All the time to achieve it and instead of letting her be there he pushed her to another man. I would be heartbroken if I were her.
Iâm looking forward to The Demon Hunterâs Romance with Ren Jia Lun. That should air soon. And after that A Moment but Forever again with Liu Xue Yi.
I do believe that the sweet moments at ep 16-18 is necessary to make the love story between MJH and ML more believable.…
I agree. If they donât show romance between them how would the break up angst be credible? And I really enjoyed their cute scenes together. However, I do think they could have made the tone for those episodes a bit less lighthearted. I know they were in their bubble in the village, but still. MJH basically found out sheâs the love of his life and knowing about her poisoning that must also lead to desperate thoughts on his part. So they could have balanced that a bit with the cute and funny scenes.
Was there a time jump? How long? Does XiyanGreenTeaPrince know where her heart is?
Theoretically it should be like you said. But Iâve seen many dramas with the tears and negative climax you mentioned and they still had a SE. Still, I have high hopes for a HE here. The undying flower is the strongest symbol for me. And the red fruits and the hairpin too â€ïž

She doesnât seem happy at all. She goes to visit her parents graves, she looks relieved and grateful, but never happy. I think sheâs planning how to get out of there.
