Marcus Here featured the sequel to The Early Spring. https://youtu.be/TLTWjqpV05I?si=AfiJAP09arN8m5Yd It begins…
But what is there still to tell? I hope they’ll not put them through the same kind of miscommunications etc again. Hopefully Lumi and Will get their story told.
I also want to say: you know which couple of toxic AF? Zhang Ling He and Wang ChuRan in Overdo. They were SO bad…
If you don’t like the drama go watch something else instead of spreading hate here. It’s obvious who your favourite is. No one is selling sleeping around as feminism. This drama tells the story of two people who fell in love despite the fact that everything else was not right at that time, and who were not able to communicate with each other properly and therefore were not able to live that love freely and have a healthy relationship. But they’ll get there eventually. SZT outgrows her insecurities and starts her own company. And she doesn’t put him on a pedestal any longer. In no relationship are two people always 100% equal in every aspect.
She falls for him at first sight, mind you. She could have chosen the calm, polite and sweet SYZ, but she didn’t want that one.
I might be of the minority here. But I don't feel bad for Zhao Xing Tang. I mean sure, I feel bad she wasn't literate…
I agree with everything you said. I have no empathy for someone who deliberately and repeatedly does the wrong thing and who maltreats their servants like this. I know servants were oftentimes treated badly all over the world but that doesn’t make it right here. And her throwing repeatedly tantrums breaking things - it’s not just her acting but I’m afraid the character was written like a cliched caricature. I hope the next female „villain“ is better written.
I watched the fan meet yesterday. It was a finale party to celebrate the success of the drama. Honestly, there…
You wrote it so well, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I see it like you do. For the drama I just wish they’d shown us some scene(s) where they actually talk about their issues and expectations.
I'm sad we won't get to see Zhao Xing Tang anymore. I'm going to miss her! I may not like her, but I do sympathize…
Yes! I was surprised at his betrayal. But somehow his behaviour in the library when he said he needed her and he couldn’t lose her foreshadowed the betrayal. He seemed a completely different person from the calm and composed man in their first scene together.
I was hoping for a release for Chinese New Year 2027 but I trust the entire production team knows what they are doing and they will be doing a good job. I trust JC‘s judgement when choosing a production.
I am going to rewatch the last 3 episodes since they're on Netflix now. I thought I was moving on🤭
I started Against the Current, which is really good and full of suspense, BUT I’m rewatching the last 3 episodes of the Early Spring already for the 3rd time 🤭🥰
I spotted my favorite older male actor in the 2nd episode. He played the Old Master Lin 👍
Mine too! I also saw him for the first time in Lost You Forever. I love it when he plays a wise good character but he is also incredibly good at portraying villains. And he was funny but also tragic in Unveil Jadewind.
I like how FL realistically acts within her station. It's so refreshing after watching too many series with reckless,…
100% agreed. The inner strength, calmness, intelligence, ability to quickly adapt to a situation, but also gentleness and kindness …very interesting and beautiful to watch, and Tan Songyun perfectly delivers here. I was afraid her voice wouldn’t fit the role but she adapted her voice very well! I hope they’ll write more FLs in the future like this.
